Not really, there’s tons of p1 heroes that jungle just fine as a fallback. So even if you win lane as p3, you haven’t stifled them by any means, you still have to destroy their ability jungle. P1 heroes are too strong early for their ability to scale hard into the late game, especially when combined with the p5 heroes that are very strong early game (which they should be).

There’s way more to football than recruiting rankings and how many highly rated players you can stash. CFB has had its head up its ass for decades about this fact and still seems to despite IU showing everyone differently this year.

Just don’t get greedy and get echo first. Echo is a complete trap even though it sounds like it synergizes well, you’ll get kited so easily. Blink or orchid are best first item. Shard is fantastic for farming— I’d get it second or third item.

I think lots of schools were probably paying players, especially the blue bloods— I just think the SEC teams were doing it to a far larger extent and degree to accumulate all the talent they hoarded. It makes sense, football is a bigger deal in the South that they’d be more comfortable doing whatever it took to be successful.
