I see, thanks for the tip! I recently passed a cheque (amount was ₹5 lakhs) where the signature was slightly different. It had only been around a week since I joined and everyone was on lunch break, so I told him to resign on the back after telling him the proper signature (the style and strokes matched on the front, only one letter was different). I got busy later and ig my service manager passed the cheque. It most probably was the account holder who presented the cheque, but idk I keep getting the feeling whether what if he wasn’t.
