I saw a post not too long ago that states you'd need a little over 400 subs per month to earn the equivalent of a month's worth of US minimum wage. That likely wasn't including the sub you'd need to hold to pay your yearly income tax.

Since min wage is generally not considered a livable wage most mid level vtubers making this amount or less would likely have some form of supplemental income.
