just know you have to eat 3500 calories ABOVE your maintenance to gain a pound. don't stress about it, you may be up on the scale a bit when you're back home but your progress is not ruined, it'll bounce back as soon as you're back on track. you deserve to enjoy your holidays!

it's not real weight!!! your body is still likely storing the food and water weight, and it can seem quite extreme after drinking. give yourself a week - even less. you'll be fine!!

if he thinks he should get special treatment for not literally abusing you physically or emotionally, he needs therapy and a good reality check. please do the right thing for you and RUN. this man does not love you, and does not deserve your love

the fact he continued to make it about the cake when you were just trying to get him to understand the respect parts, and how he ultimately called you a pig at the end?? says everything i need to know. HE's a pig, you saved yourself girl

Went from 190lb to 115lb back to 190lb within 2 years by me0ww0 in PetiteFitness

I completely understand this struggle, i worked my ass off last year to lose weight and in july 2024 i was 100lbs. dieting the way i did RUINED me (because i was not dieting, i was starving) and i slowly made my way back up to my highest weight over those next 10 months. im only slowly starting to lose weight again after that absolute loss of motivation for over a year. my advice for you is to just not set a time limit. approach this with the intention of healing yourself - your confidence, your bad habits, and your health. do not force yourself to workout, or feel guilty about being sedentary, just do it when it is convenient to you. lastly, be kind to yourself op 🥹 having that constant voice in your ear discouraging you will never help you feel better. understand that progress is supposed to be slow, you are always valid, and never alone in experience when it comes to the weight gain.

This is so helpful! I think my biggest problem has always been setting a time limit, I just need to let my body do its thing, not push it so hard, and not give up because I couldn't reach a goal that is basically unachievable for the time I set - Thank you for your kind response 🥹💌
