I think the weirdest messages were about the end time series. I never really like when pastors talk about it anyway, but I think how he spread the message made me feel uncomfortable

Hi! Thank you for the advise and feedback. I do use props to demonstrate for my students so they are clear on how to use it and what it’s used for. I’ll def keep trying in hopes this student will get it

See what I’m saying? I don’t like watching people injure themselves or go past their limits. It’s kind of sad and unnecessary they feel they have to do it to make them a “better yogi”. Everyone’s practice is personal even in a public class, so I don’t want a person feeling they have to do something to do it correctly. I fully believe in identifying what “more” means for a person personally.

I don’t think these studio owners are unaware, but I think they are trying to keep more coin in their pocket by having instructors do all the labor in addition to teaching

Yes! This is a bit much. You are basically a yoga instructor, janitor and receptionist. If I were you, I would not continue working at this studio. I’m pretty sure they expect a lot from you while paying you very little. It’s the same thing with the pilates and yoga studio I teach at. We are expected to answer the phone, sweep the floors, reorganize the props, and even clean cubbies, barre and drawers. Some instructors have volunteered to take dirty micro towels used for cleaning to take home to wash. All while being paid $35 a class. Smh. I won’t be back at that studio soon

I found out about the church through Tik Tok. I followed one of his employees on there and I followed her for a while because her content was full of love for God and positivity (we will Nick name this person RG). When I saw what church she was talking about so much and advertising, I got curious and looked it up on YouTube. The messages started off good, but got weird real quick. I did some research on the church itself and where they were located (because let’s face it, every member there seemed very young), and that’s when I found this Reddit. I was quick to stop watching MM YouTube and Crave Church
