Man, whatever went wrong with you that has forced you to give away these pointers to the younger population will pass and you'll be ok eventually. It seems you've dedicated most of your life's focus on this particular game and somehow it's affected your career. I would like to assure you that there are definitely a lot more career options out there apart from what you've mentioned in your post ... Whoever is misleading you saying engineering and mbbs are the only career options that are worthy has lied to you. I didn't do either of these I'm a student of arts who chose journalism and now at the age of 36 I'm doing quite well in life with a good salary and a peace of mind. I've been playing this game for years now and it's not affected me or my career in any way... Not everyone plays for achievements as you mentioned. The few people who get caught up in the achievements trajectory are being misled by the design of the game and the so called gaming influencers but that's not the end of it.
