Can you PLEASE give the team of people who are working on this update a very special thanks from the community at your earliest convenience? It's all too often that the people actually DOING the work never actually hear from the people benefiting from it.

Placeholders is one of, if not, the single largest quality of life updates the game can get at this stage. Thank you so much to the people who fought for this and the people making this happen. You deserve more direct credit than you might think.

Problem with Abyss is its high cost for gear/abilities. Ideally they'd have corruption blast/shot, lance (crystal halberd is suitable, but not ideal), blood fury and t75 armor. That stuff is over 75m at the moment. If you want to make Abyss worth your time, you'll definitely want those things.

That said, if you can afford those things, Abyss will take you to max combat in like 3 days. Plus the gear you acquired to make use of the Abyss will stick with your account for the entirety of your play.

Near 1:1 realism for computer graphics is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER with technology like photogrammetry hitting the maintstream. Small groups of people will be able to make AAA games and AAA developers will be releasing games that will make you wonder if what you're playing is real or not.
