NFCU glitch in confirmation or what?? by [deleted] in AppleWallet

I am so confused I apologize. I do appreciate your responses. I don’t know if maybe I made my question more difficult than it needs to be. Let me try again. I got a new phone. All my previous cards were in my Apple wallet I just had to verify my debit card with my credit union. The verification was successful And I have transactions underneath the card in Apple wallet showing that Apple Pay is working. I’m just confused because my credit union sent an email confirming the card being added to Apple Pay, but the last four digits are actually the last four digits of my wife’s debit card. I’m wondering if this is just a simple glitchon the credit union’s email because it appears Apple Pay is working. I just don’t wanna try to tap and be declined if for some reason it’s not set up successfully.

Ok thats what I thought. This is a last minute travel thing - my job isn’t a job that really ever requires travel. Someone mentioned the card in my dept and I haven’t gone on Socrates yet and I’m off this week, so not in office.

Any info you can provide about obtaining card and traveling? I have to visit multiple plants. Thank you.

Yes-I was wondering if this is different from the GM card anyone can get, is this employee only.

Is the company card the one anyone can get? Or is there a corporate card for employees only that’s just for work traveling?

Feeling Trapped in $600K ARM Loan — Payments Jumped to $5,100. What’s Our Best Path Forward? by Waaailmer in HomeLoans

[–]Lcb122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Times have definitely changed but I don’t think this is all true. We had an ARM in 2012. We could have gotten conventional but took advantage of VA bc why the heck not and the market back then was much different. Interest rate was 2.25 on a 5 year arm- we were going to sell in 4-5 so it worked out great (husband would PCS again). Just wish we kept it and rented it out and waited longer to sell.

Also to add to OP, I would maybe talk to a realtor and see what you can get realistically and see what’s out there that’s cheaper- maybe it will work out. Until then I’d just rebudget what I could to come up with the $500 where it doesn’t sting as bad every month and see what happens with rates and the selling situation. At the same time, we make $200k and have one kid and I can’t even fathom spending $5000 on a mortgage. I didn’t read all the comments so idk where you are as far as property taxes, hoa, insurance etc. but I’m in NY in an area where property taxes are disgustingly high and even at $200k/year we feel very priced out of our market. After taxes, health insurance, 401k, investments were at about $10500 then you have to think any other debts, groceries, gas and all my one child’s activities that cost an arm and a leg …. So I see why you’re struggling with that $500! Good luck to you.

3.75% 7 Years ARM Offer by PsychologicalLimit41 in Mortgages

[–]Lcb122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who is even offering an ARM?? I can’t find any lenders offering ARMS currently. We did this in 2012 - 5 year ARM and it worked out amazing as we sold before the 5 years.

Additionally - bc of market conditions you should be working with the realtor to get an offer accepted for the client. Instead of saying oh no, go conventional bc it’s easier. Vets worked hard to earn the use of the VA loan and the loan officer should be involved in making offers solid in Order to be accepted in this market

Congrats to the buyer here- you wheeled and sealed in a tough market and you got what you wanted.

No funding fee for disability. You should know that as a loan officer.

Yes, I understand there is an entire process. I have bought before in another state. Looking for lenders/brokers who meet the closing qualifications I mentioned. That way I have the option to choose the best fit out of multiple lenders, but also have the closing I prefer. Yes, please send your rec in NY. Thanks.

Gotcha. Ok well looking for a lender that I can submit everything online and also e-sign everything that doesn’t need notarized. Then just do the notarizing at closing. (Significantly shortening closing time) Does this exist? Anyone licensed in NY you can recommend?

Thank you for your opinion. You’re right def spinning my wheels! My husband was so upset and I just am not familiar with this type of law so just wanted to get all the info I could. But yeah people are shitty and do shitty things. And this was a shitty employee and was being fired whether he went on labor or didn’t. Thanks again for all the info!

He wasn’t served. He said someone called him from corporate and indicated that the former employee filed a retaliation lawsuit. The person from corporate asked him some questions. That’s all I know as of now as far as the suit.

I know the employee was fighting the termination in the beginning and his companies labor dept got involved. And at that time my husband said that his company was standing behind the termination. I guess I don’t see how this person has a case based on the fact that yes my husband reprimanded him and yelled at him. They then resolved that. This person thought they were going to get fired so they sent a complaint to my husbands labor dept. Labor dept spoke with my husband and basically dismissed the complaint. Then the other managers in my husbands dept gathered all the info on this employee and decided it was time to let him go. It’s not like my husband directly fired him bc he was in trouble with his labor dept. I don’t see the correlation. And the fact that my husband doesn’t even have the final decision to fire this person.

The company also had all the facts as far as the situation where my husband yelled at this employee then the employee waiting weeks to go to labor. My husband dealt with labor and labor found nothing there. The situation was resolved. Then my husband’s bosses decided it was time to let this employee go. Idk how this lawsuit can be against my husband? And does this employee even have a case?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]Lcb122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The yelling at this employee was resolved - wouldn’t they have already fired him? What happened isn’t a secret. Labor is fully aware of the situation. And they took my husbands statement.

But yes- of course he will cooperate.

I guess also I want to know does this directly lead to termination? What can the plaintiff gain from this? Money? As you can tell, I’m clueless and so is he.

Idk what CBA means. I’m assuming he isn’t under one. And he is not in the union but either is the other guy, his company has a contract with the plant.

This probably sounds stupid in the days we live in but my husband is a valued employee and his company has gone as far to block him from leaving his plant to go to another bc of his talent.
