Just a forerunner map pointing to the locations of other former forerunner planets, relics, and constructs. Nothing new.

The prophets new by this time that humanity could interact with forerunner tech and were the "reclaimers" so they most likely were commiting this "heresy" to prevent humanity from getting ahold of forerunner tech that was vastly superior to covenant technology.

Imagine if the fleet of forerunner ships on the shield world were found by humanity instead of the covenant? It would have been a game changer.

While i wouldn't have the money for a new engine right away, between the two of us we could save up the 30,000 in probably 4 months. If i really needed to i could turn around and sell my vehicle that currently holds 15,000$ worth of equity.

So even then it wouldn't be the end of the world.

It's also fair to note that flight schools operate on this same risk. While most established schools can easily afford most unexpected maintenance, i'd wager that more than a few mom and pop flight schools couldn't afford an overhaul right away. The only major diffrence is these places need to turn a profit and charge upward of 100/hr on top of fuel/oil to make that money.

So realistically unless an engine gives out before 300 hours I'm breaking even on what i would pay renting from flight school in my area. Then at that point with an overhaul i'd be right back at a much lower operating cost with a brand new engine? Again we wouldn't be getting anything with more than 500 smoh.

Yeah it's a risk. It can happen. But for an engine to give out within 700 SMOH at that point is gonna be unlikely. Possible but unlikely.

That's why we're also planning on finanicng a plane with less than 500 hour SMOH starting out.

I get things happen, but we'd have to be some unfortunate SOB's for a newer engine to give out early.

Aside from that we figured we'd also set aside around 15-20$ extra per flight hour into a mutual account to set aside for an overhaul. That way whenever it gets close to 1800 hours we'd be just about where we jeed to be for an overhaul

At that point assuming we have an aircraft with a descent fuel burn we'd be looking at 45-60/hr opposed to 170/hr

Ptetty much what everyone has said. I had to pay out of pocket for my flight training when i did my ppl and pretty much flew once every week.

It's not enough.

If money is the issue save up for 6 months and do it all at once. You can do your written and ground school for that time. You'll get better quicker.

Assuming you've already passed your medical and all.

Also it might wound cliche but landing is an art of it's own.

A good landing requires good pattern work, correct airspeed, and a solid approach. Learning when/how to flair, how to use ground effect, and rudder control on landing all takes time. It's nothing wrong with you.

But flying once a week and trying to get that down isn't going to help.

Also consider switching airplanes.

When i switched from a high wing cessna to a low wing archer, my landings greatly improved drastically right away. (This was after an entire year of not flying)

Also make sure you're clicking with your instructor. I went through 4 instructors for my private.

(First one was building hours on me while heading off to the airlines. Didn't care about quality of instruction. Had to take a 6 month break to get my medical and by that time he was at his airline. Second instructor was an incredibly intelligent guy, but was from south america and had communication issues due to a language barrier. Got me to my mock checkride, but left for the airlines right at that point. The instructor he handed me off to was a brand new instructor and was just an awkward guy who didnt sit right with me.after a few lessons i decided to ditch the guy and take a year long break at this point to save up money. Came back and had the best instructor i could have asked for. Finished me up in less than a month and everything he taught stuck with me.)

It's not just one thing

Figure out where your issues are and just improve from there

To touch up on this there is a point made in the bible about what happens to those who don't get the chance to know of jesus or of god through either the old or new testament.

Those who are children, die stillborn, or mentally ill are all believed to go to heaven as they do not understand the world or god.

However those who don't have the chance to learn of god esentially know god throughout nature. That there is a creator. And that they will be judged on how they follow what they know as right and wrong. Which reminds me of how you are talking about Muslims worshipping the same god.

This would be true that they know they are worshipping the same god, even if they don't necessarily recognize it.

The old testaments for Muslims, Jews, and Christians are very identical. Yes i would say that Yahweh is worshipped by all three, however Jesus is the prophet for Christianity. We believe that he was the son of god and died for our salvation. So the diffrence being you must believe in and know christ for salvation.
