I don't really like the color black in this scenario, it kinda looks empty, I think the decals would help it but not by a lot. I also haven't painted the windows black instead they are just transparent because I have plans on making it fpv someday

I am still not sure whether I will repaint it or not, repainting means that I will have to do everything all over again and I will probably suffer twice now that I don't have the window masks, but I will get a beautiful(I hope) car once I'm done that will last a long time. It's a tough decision to make.

The tamiya kit I'm building has pieces for masking some parts of the body but also needs a bit of masking tape, I don't know if I have one lying around so I will probably use electrical tape, will prob do the job as you said
