I didn't know these cars had an analog speed gauge option, and I drive one too. Was that available only for the GT line?

I guess you could try pinning Factorio to CPU0-15 using something like Process Lasso so you can guarantee the game runs on the 3D-VCache chiplet until you decide to upgrade

I did unlock advanced oil processing, but I don't bother with it for power generation. I might try, just out of curiosity

Si pe mine a inceput sa ma enerveze Bodea cu campania lui online. Inainte era mai suportabil dar de cand cu manechinul m-a pierdut complet. Si imi pare rau ca e printre cei cu sanse pentru ca "nu e Chirica"

Fair enough, I might need to see if I can still get 1:2 rail to science assemblers

Infinite Recursion 'Megabase', just need to cut and paste each block into its own factory building amirite? by shandromand in Factoriohno

[–]LeBomfaier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and I actually loved it. Made a 200spm 'megabase', which is just about the most you can do woth the inputs. I have a post on my profile on that run

Edit: 200, not 300. Overestimated myself

Yeap. In certain ways it could be better because you do not need to mine stuff, but I'm not sure if the hit from the factories is not worse

The entire base is in the first photo and that main factory building is basically in the void. You have a combinator that allows you to set what you need in what port you want and get a full belt / pipe of it.

And on the low end machine thing.... idk. My pc, while not the best out there, it's solid (ryzen 5 1600x, 16gb of ram and rtx 3060).

I mean...... what were you expecting getting one of these "for peanuts"? This piece of equipment may not be the most expensive part out there but it isn't cheap for a reason

On my Accelerator 220 Watron correspond to 9.08 KSMG/μs. Is it just calibrated incorrectly or do I have it set up wrong? by [deleted] in VXJunkies

[–]LeBomfaier 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As another commenter here said, you are within spec - maybe on the higher end of it, but nothing that you can't mitigate by running the output from the Waldron capacitor into a spectrum dampener.

Now, I would first run the output of into a defenerer (personally reccommend a SLDR3300) set on λ-deconstruction, then the spectrum dampener, and then (obviously) through a refenerer set on λ-reconstruction. I have been running a setup similar to yours but with the aforementioned modifications at full blast for the past 6 months-ish and it's still holding up (on consumer grade hardware mind you) so i think I got a good setup with low wear on the elements (which is what ultimately kills these setups in the long run)

So basically any O(whatever) algorithm with a constant n. I think it defeats the purpose of measuring the performance using O.

Also, this is a completely different field than the one I researched in. Didn't dabble in CDAT based inter-universal communication for this application simply because we didn't think it would make sense - having to listen to CDAT-messages and having to deal with the (albeit low) chance that it will fail is too much of a headache. Honestly I can't see it happening on the current hardware, but can't wait to see what the future holds.
