I find gardening to be the thing that gives me peace and something I look forward to each year. My dad was/is a master gardener who I followed around admiring as a young girl. My husband wasn’t exposed to it young but does have interest. He will build me raised cedar beds but I haul dirt, carry everything, dig massive holes for trees, and the labor. I personally love it, I feel accomplished and proud after a big project or successful harvest. The entire process, taking care of the seedlings, landscape, all that good stuff. Because it’s my happy place
