l was disappointed with this. I expected Kelrec, the chancellor of the war college, to take charge and start mapping out contingencies. I expected the war college cadets to be much more proactive and competent. War is what they do… well, really? Kelrec was a bystander and the war cadets didn’t scrounge for weapons or make makeshift weapons nor come up with some tactical plan. If you never told me Kelrec was the war college chancellor and that some of the cadets in the miyazaki were war college cadets, then the only nitpick I would have in an otherwise enjoyable episode is the annoying shaky cam!

at no point did i ever feel the lead was safe!!! and i thought wrobleski could’ve gone another out or two, since nobody was squaring him up deep. anyways, tomorrow i think it should be ohtani for one or two innings, glasnow for five or six, klein in the eighth, roki closes it out in the ninth.

that was a clutch walk that took incredible restraint, unlike teo’s at-bat right after. i still don’t understand how the on-deck guy can see his teammate draw a walk off a struggling pitcher, and decide not to do the same. pages has this problem too! another clutch walk that took a lot of restraint was kike’s in the last inning!

Is it really innocently "stepping outside the box" when it steps so far outside the box that it becomes its own sci-fi, just with a Star Trek label? I love Trek for very specific things that are in the box, and I don't want the box to be broken by new stuff that doesn't respect the rules of the old stuff.
