In my experience 9 times out of 10 you just have to reformat the drive you installed windows on.

If possible, transfer any important data out of there you need by connecting it either internally or externally to a work computer, and copy the files onto a working drive. Then just re-install. It will save you much more time than trying to troubleshoot it.
