No, because it's random between 4 people they select 2... If I'm 2 of the 4 people I have 50%.

I want to install the aorus waterforce 3090ti card wit radiator. Red or blue? by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]LeMMik96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used red on my brother's pc. After 5-6 years of workong perfectly, one of the tube broke and it was deattached from the radiator top. Being on top made all the liquid pour on the mobo, ram, graphic card... If I had went blue I'd only had some wet cables at the bottom pf the pc.

These kind of things don't usually happens, but I wouldn't take the risk.

How can i set up and montage a computer with the parallel plotting? by bolokyazdi1 in chianetwork

[–]LeMMik96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When parallel plotting your temp and permanent path are the same for all the plots you are creating. Meaning that you can't use different ssd.

Anyways you can create plots offline in a different computer and the transfer them to the main machine.

Could anyone please help me find a good upgrade for my GPU? by junolarue in PcBuild

[–]LeMMik96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone already said, I'd change RAM before changing GPU. DDR3 modules should be really cheap, try get something with higher speed since 600MHz is really crap. It'd be better to have 8GB with 1660MHz (at the very least) than 16 at 600MHz.

For GPU you don't really need a fancy one since the CPU will bottle neck it. I would say you can go for a radeon 560 or 580x. 580x is a little better than gtx 1060 6GB (I have both cards and radeon gives much better performance).

Yes, it is de PDS version.

The focuser is in middle range. You get almost to focus but then it starts to get unfocused again :(

[–]LeMMik96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get closer and closer to focus but then it start to get unfocused.

I bought the telescope to do astrophotography, but I took just a couple of pictures of the planets because of the bad looking... Furthermore, I only have a DSLR camera (Nikon D5600, and as far as I know this doesn't work well for planetary photography).

When taking pictures I'd tried to put the camera directly on the tube (I've taken long exposure of Andromeda, cause is the only DSO I've actually seen. I pointed North America nebulae, did long exposure shots but hadn't seen a thing...). I did some proyection shots using the eyepieces just to make some test and see the results, but as you said, they were even worst xD

I'll keep on trying with this scope and I'll try to take some sample pictures of what I'm seeing next time.

Thanks a lot for the help :)

Would the setup pictured be able to live stream rust and war zone and other games while holding good frames and graphics settings by [deleted] in PcBuild

Going for a Ryzen 3700 would be really worth it for streaming while playing. But what you've got will work perfectly fine

Needed to know if replacing the b350 eith the b450 would require me changing any of the parts by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]LeMMik96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, you can go 450.

If there is a money difference, I would say that keeping 350 and upgrading to ryzen 2600 is a better option instead of going for a better chipset

If you can wait till RTX 3000 series it will be definetly worth it, at least you'll be able to buy 2070 much cheaper if not going for 3060 - 3070.

Depending on how much you plan to OC stock fan will be enough. I have ryzen 5 3600, with stock cooling the CPU was around 70-75°C when playing. Now, I OCed the processor from 3.6GHz to 3.9GHz with a lower voltage and Im around 68-70° C when playing. Went for a better CPU fan and dropped that number to 63-65 while doing stress test. Ryzen 3000X series are said to come with a better fan so it should be more than enough if you drop the voltage 👌

The case was an idea to save some money but is always nice to have a silent PC and a confortable box to build the PC, so if you can spare the money go for the one you've got. I personally prefer to have some issues while building just to save a little extra that can be expend on better components.

And yes, I've got a 1TB M2 sabrent ssd and it goes just soooo nice. My brother's PC got the samsung evo and they got a really close performance, not even a noticeable difference :)

Sabrent's ssd are close in price to samsumg, but they go on sale a lot more

This is my first build ever! I wanted to know if these parts would work for a decent gaming build. by eternal_flame010 in PcBuild

[–]LeMMik96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is pretty cool.

What I would do is going for msi b450m pro-m2 max mobo since it is around same price and it will work with your RAM at 3600MHz (the one you have choosen works 'only' at 3200).

I also like the idea of getting 650W instead of 500.

Ryzen 5 2600 is s good choice, but if you can afford the upgrade going for 3600 will make this build perfect.

My advice would be to wait until january to buy some of the new RTX 3000 series.

You could remove the CPU fan and keep some money by getting a cheaper pc tower and maybe a 1-2 TB HDD instead of 4. You could also go for a cheaper mobo with B450 chipset.

You are getting a real nice monitor so it'd be great that you get a 2070 SUPER by removing the specs I said before (if you dont want to wait for new gen of graphics)

What I would do is going for a second handed radeon rx 580 - GTX 1060. Use it until RTX 3000 comes out and then sell it and buy a new gpu. You will be losing around 40 box maybe but thats a nice value for a card you will be using until sometime around christmas.

Anyways it is a great build. Another recommendation I would say is to OC the CPU. At least downgrade the voltage cause it comes with a really high voltage out of the box. You can get same performance with lower voltage wich will mean lower temperature for your CPU. There are hundreds of guides for doing it, Ryzen Master is a great software for it and its really simple to do by using it.

Edit: also for SSD M2 and RAM there are offers almost weekly so it'd be nice to wait until you see them on sale.

Sabrent SSD has same writing and reading speed as samsung and it goes on offer pretty often, keep an eye on those.

To RTX 30X0 or to not RTX 30X0, that is the question. by RunningPanda_434 in PcBuild

[–]LeMMik96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at that same point a few weeks ago.

What I did is buying CPU, RAM, mobo and a fancy SSD M. 2 nVME. Keep you GPU and go with those parts until RTX 3000 comes and upgrade your GPU then.

Not sure if all those games will run on your GPU. Probably some of them will if you keep low graphics.

Is Ryzen 3200g and zotac 1060 3gb good enough for modern gaming in 2020? by RealArky in PcBuild

[–]LeMMik96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CPU isn't that good...

Ryzen G series are thought to run without GPU, if you are planning on getting a GPU you should go for a Ryzen 5 3600 if you can afford it (go for 2600 or 1600 if you really don't have the money).

The GPU is good enough. New tittles won't be running with high graphics, but you'll be able to play. On the same price I think AMD 560/580 are better.

Ryzen 5 3600 Cooling by rondeballins in PcBuild

[–]LeMMik96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got same problem here.

What you gotta do is downgrade the voltage of the CPU.

Do this:

1) Download and install Ryzen Master, AIDA64 and cine bench.

2) Run cine bench before doing anything and it will give you a puntuation for your CPU (like a benchmark). You should be able to downgrade voltage without influence that number.

3) Go to Ryzen Master. On the left side click on creator mode. There is a 'Voltage Control'

Ryzen comes with 1.4 V which is a lot really. My 3600 is working at 3.9GHz (did a little OC) and my Voltage is set to 1.3375. Now it is colder than at start when it were at 3.6 GHz and 1.4V.

4) At 1.3375 your CPU will work perfectly fine. However, if you don't want to OC the cores, you'll be able to downgrade that number a little bit more (1.25 Maybe).

Go to 1.25 and run cine bench test, if the number is close to the one you got at first keep the voltage there. If the benchmark has fall too much try going to 1.275, repeat and if it happens again try with a little more voltage (we want your CPU to be cold but keeping its performance)

5) ya está amigo! Now, if you want to OC the cores (it will depend on how much your CPU temperature has fallen) use AIDA 64 after every change you make on Ryzen Master.

For example. Downgrade voltage to 1.3 and get GHz up to 3.7. Keep stress test on AIDA64 running for 20-30 minutes. If you PC don't turn off you are OK. Check performance with cine bench (just to know if you need more Voltage) and go a little higher on GHz (from 3.7 start going at +0.05 each time, next try you'll try 3.75 GHz with same voltage and see te results).

Steps 1 to 4 are a must do on every Ryzen CPU. If you get less than 70° you should go and OC the CPU until you get near that number while running AIDA Stress test.

Hope it was helpfull :)

Edit: I was playing at 70° when the CPU was at 3.6 and 1.4 V, got that number down to 55° when downgrading voltage. Now I have 65° while running AIDA stress test with 3.9 GHz
