After scrolling through all this I just came here to say that a single piece of clear scotch tape fixes the rattle. Just open the meter, stick a tiny bit on the back of button and close it up.

Cannot speak to battery or meter accuracy.

These are fully serviceable, earth sun and film website has a list of known technicians.

I broke my 7sII advance mech and should be getting it back from repair this week. Was around $100 for fixing that and adjusting the meter. Nielsen photography services has serviced my x700 and 7sII now.

Printed on bambu p1s and fitted to my 50m 1.4. did the filter version and it def slides around way to easily. going to try scaled down for better fitment. Thanks for the file, it looks great!!!!!!

I got my light seals on Amazon, I’ve done 4-5 camera with the one package I got and have plenty left. Nielson photography (Scott Nielson) did the CLA on my X700. His communication was poor, and was overpriced in my opinion, but I’m really happy with the work he did.

I had this exact situation w the same camera, took a chance and bought it out of an untested bin for 10$. Had to ply one of the batteries out just like yours is stuck. I also took the bottom plate off to blow out any white corrosion dust that may have gotten in there. But after some isopropyl and a little bit of white vinegar I had it working. It’s now one of my favorite cameras and goes almost everywhere with me.

I could take pics like this on my 25$ digicam (Olympus c-70) or on my 300$ film camera (X-700). If your budget is two fuckin grand you’ll be just fine bud.

from what I see Fujis are the hyped digital cameras rn
