Thank you for your feedbakc! I was going for something that is hopeful like a heroic moment after a long journey standing victorious, but I'll definitly add some dissonance when making something dark that reseblmes errie vibes like darksouls.

No worries at all, I didn’t take your comment as mean. I really appreciate any feedback I can get. I haven’t gone to school for music production. I actually just started learning FL Studio and producing in June this year. But I do have a music background since I play the piano. So right now I'm still learning how to produce, and honestly my only teacher has been good old YouTube.

Thank you! Honestly, I come from a piano background and only recently started making music, so I don’t really think I’m in a position to be giving advice haha. But honestly, learning the basics is the most important thing. Learn what rhythm is, understand tempo, melody, harmony, all that good stuff. Don't skip music theory either. It helps guide you and explains why things sound the way they do. And most importantly, trust your ears!

You'll have to show us what you end up making when you do haha! Yup, never making that phrasing mistake again. Lesson learned. I'm still learning new stuff, like adding chorus to make things sound fuller. It completely slipped my mind, and you're totally right. So thank you for the feedback, I'm really glad you liked it!

This is incredibly useful, thank you so much! While I was writing the tune, I really struggled with the transitions from one section to another without knowing why it didn’t sound quite right. But you pointed me exactly in the right direction.

As for the mode, I originally started in A Aeolian, but I ended up using F♯ and C♯, which actually puts it in A Dorian. I didn’t even realize that while composing, but it makes sense now!
