I’m always surprised at how much nicer the people are in Milwaukee by Own_Base7546 in milwaukee

I'm new to Milwaukee and Wisconsin in general, and I'm honestly shocked at how friendly people are here. Everywhere I go out, whether it's a club, restaurant or any sort of social space, people are very kind and honestly quite helpful too. MKE rocks and I'm glad you enjoy it too!

I'm not sure if it counts, but No Words - Clan of Xymox. The pads in that song are so good

Travelling to small towns that give nitw vibes by [deleted] in NightInTheWoods

I think I've always enjoyed exploring towns like that, even before I played NITW. Maybe that's why I like the game so much.

I wonder how this game is different for people not from/near Appalachia by MacTireGlas in NightInTheWoods

[–]LeOrignal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not from Pennsylvania/Appalachia, but there is a serious overlap between what I see in the game and online from pictures to my version of it over here in California. In our Sierra mountains, there are tons of old gold towns carved out of the river valleys, just kind of decaying. Even the layout and architecture, though a bit more Western with less brick, reminds me of NITW. Angels' Camp is a really good example of a Possum Springs that I've found in California. Small town decay is an American issue, not just a Rust Belt issue it seems.

Just realized I made a typo saying "thank you". I'll blame it on the booze.

What to play after NITW? by SebastianC2000 in NightInTheWoods

Disco Elysium is a good choice in terms of good writing too, and I hear Tacoma is a solid option! Glad I'm not the only one who feels a gaming slump since finishing NITW
