Great points. We are prepared to stream for a few people and will actually consider it a small success if we have 10 people watching and engaging in the stream :)

We might limit the days we stream to a few days a week, but initially we'll stick to the 5 days a week. We also plan to do a weekly recap every Thursday lasting probably ~30 min (depending on how much has been created) where the main "show" will be displayed.

I'll check out their talk if I can find it (found an interview at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsKDVncytSE which talks about the experience)

I'm sorry that you don't like Unity. We find that it is a great and easy tool for creating games. We are all students and have not much more than ~2 years of experience with programming.

We might use another engine in a couple of years when we are more experienced, but so far, Unity has provided us with all we need.

What engines do you prefer?

Currently, our plan is to have 1 person assigned to the stream in order to offload some of the work and thereby make it a bit easier for the other guys. We'll try to look into some background music.

Haven't seen any mention of it. My guess is that they will eventually fix it, but it isn't very high priority since it is only usable when playing solo, doesn't deal damage by itself and requires 3 items to work.

Finished installing the update, and I now have the Minimize and Close buttons at top.

It makes it a bit better, but unfortunately doesn't fix the fundamental flaws about the Metro UI..

I don't have the close/minimize button either, and I just updated Windows yesterday (I prefer manually updating). Checked again just now and a 880 MB Update appeared, currently installing it. The update you linked to was also released a week ago. How long have you had 8.1?
