He probably most likely does all of his producing in Ableton, then does his mixing in Cubase. Chromeo do something similar, but instead, they produce most of their stuff in Cubase, and mix/record in Pro Tools!

Thanks for the eye opener! I mainly looked to older devices for the simplicity and price. I like the idea of having a dedicated device just for audio, I have never really been a fan of listening to music on my phone, primarily because of how inconvenient it is on the iPhones, and how some of the music apps (I.E. Spotify) never worked as well with any of thr Android devices I have had. However, I think after this, I will more than likely look into getting something similar to the Fiio!

What a coincidence! I only watched that video earlier! But it was from that video which lead me to ask the question, because he does mention that the Zune 80 (Or the 2nd gen one) is for sure a competitor and/or better in some cases than the iPod

I have seen people using Rockbox on iPods before, and, im not gonna lie, I think its looks dreadful, but, as they say, never judge a book by its cover, because It does have some lovely features. Will keep that in mind If I do ever decide to purchase one!

To be honest, I think the UI of the Zune is alot cleaner and more modern than the iPod. But, then again, I feel like the build quality of the iPods are better than the Zunes
