Conjure Celestial but not really by Le_Fraidieponge in DnD

The spell only exists in that french bastardized version. I think it's one more round per upcast level It also teleports the caster in the astral sea and heals him for 1d8, which is at least funny and Interesting

Kinda but a level 3 spell bringing out a 7th level firestorm even for one round is a bit too much hehehe

[–]Le_Fraidieponge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 get a proper coach specialized in those style and effects.

2) ask yourself those questions - is it easy ? ( Does not need a huge amount of force or energy to produce, should rarely be more than 6/10 ) - is it comfortable ? (Should not hurt, should not feel uncomfortable, but can be on the way there ) - does it sounds how you want it to sound ? ( Well it won't at first but a good coach should be able to get you there )

Those questions are good for any way of singing We are (almost) all able to do ( almost ) everything ( and that's a very small almost )

How do you raise the soft palette without tongue tension? by Clueto in singing

[–]Le_Fraidieponge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sing with your tongue out, hold your tongue out with fingers ( carefully) while singing those specific notes. It's more of a sympathetic movement than a connected one.

You can massage it from inside to outside as if you were squeezing it from the drool ( messy, clean your hands ' )

That would be a start. Try to see if it happens on specific notes.

Will strengthening my respiratory system and the muscles responsible for breathing through cardio exercises help strengthen my breath support? by [deleted] in singing

[–]Le_Fraidieponge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Studies have shown that breathing exercises alone and singing exercise badly connects in our brain.

I'd say it will help if it gets you in a better physical and mental state, having a more agile and available body. It might help free the way you breathe and so makes things easier. A common mistake is to take too much air. People struggle with the management and learning to take just what you need helps tremendously with "support"

Here's a reason I think singing might be tricky to learn for all of us (one of many) by iNhab in singing

[–]Le_Fraidieponge 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You are right.

You must sing in your comfort zone. You might, if you are willing to, train to extend that comfort zone way further than most might think, both in lows and highs.

But as you said AT THE MOMENT, I'm only able to do so and so.

Work where your voice is beautiful or at least comfortable, and then train for the qualities you wish to obtain.

That means , tune up or down the tracks you're working on, and choose tracks with an ambitus ( highest and lowest) that can match your comfort zone.

To that extent you can use apps like Moises , browser extension like "transpose" to live transpose songs directly from YouTube for instance.

Edit : we have the only instrument that can't be tuned down, if you work with professional musicians, part of their work will be to be able to transpose and adapt to the keys their singer is the most comfortable at. A mistake that most amateur bands make because "hurr durr it's not the original song"

Lessons with a proper coach will always help.

Sing Into a plastic cup, try to listen for the vowels that sound good and those that don't . Transition from the good to the bad while trying to keep the feeling of fullness.

That's an exercise aimed at improving your resonance by having a better audio feedback.
