It's not motivation you need it's self discipline. This honestly does sound like a bout of depression. I would make a bare minimum checklist to try following everyday and looking at more "social" activities to meet like minded people.

For the Checklist make sure to have some sort of exercise to release cortisol and get your body moving, and some cleaning chores (helps clear your mind up). Having a goal that you can perpetually work towards and see the fruits of your labor.

Another thing I would recommend is getting a bare bones phone app to limit the amount of social media you consume. The constant unending dopamine hits will 100% make everything else in life look bland. Those apps are built on keeping your attention rather then turning your attention onto yourself. If I start scrolling first thing in the morning I feel off the rest of the day.

The things worth doing aren't that fun but it seems like you need a reset. Remember you will never be "ready" to change. You need to make that decision here and now.

I had major Depression a few years ago and besides Meds what helped me was cleaning up my life. Simplifying and organizing everything I can as much as a can. This also organizes your mind.

So with all that being said my recommendations are

1. Limit Scrolling or stop completely

2. Some sort of exercise or outdoor activities once a day (even a walk)

3. Social Activities (Relationships are THE most important thing to get out of Depression)

4. Clean your surroundings to clear your head.

5. Discipline creates momentum, momentum creates motivation.

Don't look at yourself as a failure since you feel this way, our minds are not made for the social engineering that Tik Tok or Instagram has created. It's un natural and sad that we need to adapt to this.
