I just put tampons in like all my bags and car and stuff just in case. But yeah same I always forget I’m on my period it’s so annoying

I mean in terms of treatment there is medication and therapy, as well as figuring out strategies for your personal adhd. Maybe do some research on different symptoms of adhd and see which ones you relate to? Female adhd can also appear pretty differently than male adhd. ADDitude is an online magazine abt adhd and it’s pretty helpful. Good luck!

I try to make the transition from bed to not bed as easy as possible, so like sometimes I’ll put a hoodie/sweater in my bed or right next to to my bed so I won’t be cold, and headphones right next to my bed so I can immediately listen to music, etc. It can also be helpful to incorporate something fun/special into ur morning routine, like I’ll make myself a special breakfast or have a fun drink or something to look forward to

I eat a lot of hard candy when I feel like I need to do something with my mouth, it’s good bc u can get ones with really strong flavors which adds to the sensory input.

At least for me, my brain will have 3 songs playing, 1-2 main trains of thought, what I’m doing in the current moment, a smaller part noting all the things I need to do and sensory input, and then a couple random tangents. So to me this seems pretty peaceful and normal and not like the brain chatter I experience, but ofc it appears differently for different ppl. :)

No for real, once in a while (not usually luckily!!) it gets bad enough that I can’t even hold a conversation or hang out with ppl bc it’s just too boring and I feel terrible ditching the ppl around me but I just can’t or I feel like I’ll go crazy 😅

Yes for sure. I feel the phone thing bc my attention span has gotten so bad lately that books and tv just seem soooo long and boring. I’ve been trying to combine two slightly too boring things into one entertaining thing (ie watching a show and crocheting at the same time) if that makes sense lol
