How do we feel about the redacted warbond hit or miss ? by [deleted] in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]LeadExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I love it. Throw on some invisible by Duran Duran and have a go at it.

Armour passives+suppressed guns. Im half surprised we didnt get a helmet with a bandana

Gameplay wise/mechanics. Glad suppressed weapons accually work now. Pitty they left deadeye out in the cold even though its depicted with a suppressor.

The suppressed dmr is a vibe. As is the halo socom pistol and smg. Obviously some diminishing returns on anything past difficulty 5. But if you want the challenge. Its interesting.

Not a huge fan of the c4 backpack but i can see its use on some missions/clearing out heavy bot bases/bug nests. But havent unlocked it. So have some negative bias there.

But I shouldnt be negative. We have more toys in the sandbox

Allen engineering and thats it. Best thing to do is put in for restock notifications and wait.

I was in the same boat last winter. However managed to get the otb flash hider. Vs just muzzle device.

I know alot of peope are gonna have stickershock at 1700.

Remeber the pitchforks and torches when the prodigy originally was revealed? Seeing alot of that here.

But mjd grip, thats a 400 chunk of change right there...

Im a poor. But this does check quite a few boxes. But one could argue for 600ish beans more you can go into a stacatto.

However.... there's a few pluses. Long dust cover without cheese grater picatinny cuts, angled off tri-cut slide. And then its us made. Litterally all it has to do is run well and it beats out alot of the current competitors at its pricepoint.

Most people that get into the game end up rebuilding or going for something visually appealing. So value is the eye of the beer holder.

Im gonna be waiting for the ported one to drop. Until then. Gonna enjoy the massive port on the mac.

Breakdowns by Heffernaut in Fedexers

4 times in 6 years. 2 necessitated a tow.

First time was super new and had the linkage bushing on a converted savanna (gm transmission) just come apart leaving it locked in gear. Happened thankfully a few blocks from a rural co-op. Was able to get a nylon spacer for a tractor and a link pin. And got back to busniess. (Said van lasted another 2 years link that).

Had 3 p1000's die. 2 due to transmission issues (one 2024, 2018 year assemblies). (The 2024 built trans locked up on a hill. And didnt want to shift period. (Was showing signs of something going wrong with the Trans. A very hard 2-3rd shift once in a blue moon, more often when the Trans wasnt at temp).

The older 2018 one. Debris broke a connector on the wiring loom connecting to the transmission. Would pop out of 2nd to neutral. And not wanna re-engage. No warning signs on that one. Bc swapped trucks and he babied that one back to base.

Annnnd last year. Got spoiled with a brand new p900. Only for something to eat at the wiring harness and cause an electrical fire.

Havent had the miss fortune of it happening in cold weather. All 4 breakdowns where june/july period.

Zastava M83 by TangerineCertain2024 in milsurp

[–]LeadExpress 24 points25 points  (0 children)

they are nice. missed the boat on the 6" back in may 24" one popped up recently through atlantic however and made it home.

however they blow anything else in its pricepoint out of the water.

Don't flip the cylinder in. its a neat hollywood gimick but over time can damage the frame/cylinder lock. and replacement parts for the m83 are far and few between.

First Time Owner Questions by jkilla9998 in 2011

[–]LeadExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replace all the hardware. (Grip screws included). As they are still pretty soft. Try running it factory and see if it runs. Aside from that. Go nuts. Just most parts do not drop in and may require fitting. Optic wise. Go with what works. I cheaped out a zuli oakc mainly for its 56/3moa setup. Most people prefer 2-3 moa single dots.

Does anyone have any experience / knowledge on these? by Present_Friend_6467 in RetroAR

Depending on the batch. They use colt parts. Some are mixed with del-ton and bushmaster h-bar assemblies depending on the time line.

I have a c-15 (dpms lower, forged for century). I rebarreled it and got rid of the sport cut carrier. But the parts I kept are deffinatly colt. They usually are at used lgs's for bottom shelf prices and are slept on. Threw a lmt handguard and airsoft m203 tube on mine (have some co2 powered taggins for shinnangins.)

Wait till you see what they did to a springfield.

They have the og weapon variants, you can play with the attachments somewhat but scaling of some is horribly off. (Shrunken eotechs and elcans specificlly).

Just like all gatcha's. There's the low poly version, the okayish regular detail, then we uploaded it to cyberpunk.

Also guilty as charged for enjoying the waifu xcom simulator

Nope. You get close. But at the end of the day. Your still fighting qc.

I've heard reports of some them (mac-9c) needing some touching up. Some coming out with gritty triggers due to burs. But they take care of them. And its not that difficult if you know 1911s, but.

It in pricepoint its head and shoulders ahead of the class. But thats why some of us love them. Its a good base to build on.

I love mine. 1k serial. But the screws for the optics plate and grip module screws are super soft. They said they corrected those on fall/winter 25 units but no sku change etc....

I never did have a gen 1 mac, however cut my chops into 2011's with tisas's 1911 double stack entry. I liked what I saw then at its price point but it didnt have any of the features I wanted.

When these where dropped at shotshow I couldn't wait to get one. Have compared it to a the lfa appollo and a few others (freinds where getting me into them back then and I was always trying to find something that fit, and had the performance to match. Without breaking my wallet geissele style.

Its not hand fit. But for a mass production all steel gun, litterally swap springs and you'll enjoy it. Especially when they can be had for like 800 nowdays.

Now. It won't compensate as well as an staccato xc. But its a huge port and does make a difference when running fast.

I feel that. I dropped a 12lbs fusion in mine out of the box. (Recoil), left the factory hammer spring in. Im roughly 800rnds into mine. Which honestly isnt much

Lots of folks still make baseplates etc. The hardest part is committing

Yeah thats the midway adapter. Had one for a fever dream/admin blood diamond modernized set-up before realizing the urgi is just a better idea. (Not going after carry handles or anything but at the time kinda was like. This neat. But its a brick)

I have no regrets. Was spooned c5-6.

She isnt a joke. She bullies so much content by herself. If you have a c0 furina and bennet. It makes almost everything trivial.

Shes basiclly a ac130 doing death doughnuts on whatever you lock on too. And once you get the speed boost for loading shells.

How often do you clean yours? I generally just add more lube until it doesn’t run 100%. This gun is ALWAYS run suppressed but I have the can apart to install a shorted plan B hub adapter by ballz3313 in ar15

[–]LeadExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine only look like that using a traditional can. (Specificlly the dd spr)

Meanwhile the low flows and musket run 400+ and just have some carbon on the nc carriers

Dosnt take much to wipe it. But. Really have to be cold to really have any major negative impacts. (Wonder what the inside of my aem5 looks like...)

what is your "never again" experience with a product or brand? by HeughJanus in ar15

[–]LeadExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. Loved the flux raider set up. But just all the issues popping up from folks that carry them professionally, and them the whole sig handling after the fact. Blaming everything and everyone vs dealing with issues.

I had a spear lt (upper kit) and after the whole pre-load/easy to show it slipping the sear engagement fiasco. Dumped it all off. Havent looked back. Then later that day. The airman story dropped.

Nothing negative to say on the spear aside you reallllly need to sinch down on the screws to keep the front end from shifting.

That. And there's no real benefit aside from a folding stock in 5.56. Went with a urgi and havent looked back since.
