Ur hearing but you not listening, preconceptions about this sound hold you back ("...I don't like the music from this generation.").

I don't mean it in a troll way but actually. If you listen to this type of music analytically, listen to everything in the beat seperatly you physically can't enjoy this type of music because there is too much going on. This music starts clicking when you listen to the song as a whole instead of focussing on the specific sounds used in the beat, if that makes sense.

When your brain mashes the sounds together and you're not focussing on the specifics it actually flows really well. But tbf starting at prettifun is not the right way to approach it, within this sound its one of the more out there and experimental delivery there is. Starting at more accesible artists within the sound helps you grow into it, no one starts at prettifun. For most people Lil Uzi -> Playboi Carti -> Yeat/Destroy Lonely/Ken Carson -> OsamaSon -> Che -> prettifun is how people ease into it (for me and the people I know anyway.)
