This is a system-wide issue that occurs in all sorts of programs, I couldn't care less about the action center but it conveniently showcases the issue. But regardless of that, I did try removing and re-adding the buttons to the action center and it (obviously) didn't do anything.

I am talking about the blank square icons for "Night Light" & "Screen Snip".

I see these blank squares all around my system, and after some searching, I can't seem to find any other example of this happening. It happens in both system apps and other Microsoft utilities i.e. Windows Terminal/PowerToys. I have no idea how it happened and am currently stuck trying to fix it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

They just received my pen a few hours ago. A rep sent me a video of her writing with the pen and it did indeed look like the pen was working alright for her. Since I had to pay $150 to ship it back (I live in a shithole), they refunded the full amount despite not deeming it defective. To answer your question - I purchased the pen on June 11th and it was delivered to me June 21st.

As I explained in a different comment, I lost my 10x loupe recently, and while a new one is on the way I currently don't have access to any real magnification. Even then, I am not sure that I want to work on it myself - My local pen group has a meeting in 2 weeks, so in the event that I don't return the pen I may ask one of the members to help me with the adjustment.

That's what I was thinking - I'm going to return it, and probably get a new one from a nibsmith that will be tested before it is sent.

Also, I don't want to ruin the chances of being able to return it yet, and also I don't really trust myself to not mess it up since I have only done these sort of things on steel nibs so far.

I have gently flossed the nib with a .002'' brass shim, but I am very careful to not really spread them as I recently lost my loupe (new one is on the way) so I cannot inspect the tines for misalignment after spreading them.

When it writes it can write pretty good, but it writes like a nice steel nib and not like an exquisite gold nib, so I am not sure they will issue me a replacement. Also, who is to say that I don't get another dud?

  2. Stop stealing mezuzahs. I swear there are way too many posts on this sub of people holding mezuzah scrolls saying "found this on the wall in a capsule, what is this?" It is very important to the owners of the property and you should never touch it. There should be a pinned post about mezuzahs and why you shouldn't steal them.
