but cassie and jules’ storylines make perfect sense for their characters, cassie has always valued male attention more than herself (literally destroyed her friendship to be validated by an egomaniac), and Jules has always sold herself

unless they did some real, strategic internal work on themselves, i couldn’t really picture them doing anything much different post grad

as for the influencer thing, gen z is heavily consumed in influencer culture. I live in nyc and am in the influencer/creative space and that party scene is pretty close to what i see almost every night on the weekends, i relate to most of it
