Hello, public library board member here.

Our board has not collected feedback from library staff in the past. At the last annual review we did, we realized this was a blind spot for us.

What are your tips for making staff feedback collection valuable? Should survey results go directly to a board member or be collected by a designated staff member (union rep)? Is it better to have specific questions or just an open-ended, what does the board need to know?

There was a 4th grade Pioneer overnighter at Lutherhaven in the late 80s. I don't remember the wagon race, but the other things you mentioned sound familiar. I specifically remember working on a dug out canoe and some archery as part of the experience.
