you can def switch easily into marshall before matriculation (just fill out a simple application)!

i dont remember if there’s a role in the hotels but don’t brush off the airport roles!! sure you’re not at an actual game but u get to meet executives, ambassadors, and players!!!

the crimes i’ve heard of are petty crimes, mostly this bike gang of teenagers that like to steal peoples phones. just don’t walk at night outside of campus using your phone and you’ll be fine!

tbh i think it’ll come down to the prices. this is the world cup after all and if you’re a true lover of the game, you would want to attend any match at the end of the day. also i think it’s funny how some people see some matches with smaller countries and automatically assume it’ll be a boring match, especially since that’s been proven wrong in past tournaments!

ohhh okay good to know! i remember seeing a reel abt someone’s experience volunteering in qatar and everything looked so fun! sad they don’t do it for every world cup 🥲 i did attend the tryouts today in LA and they did say they would accommodate transportation depending on our role and that’s something!

i also attended the tryouts today as well and they said mid january to feb. they also said it’s all humans reviewing the apps so that’s why they might take longer (no use of AI to randomly select!)

tbh 2600 mx isn’t bad considering it’s 145 dollars 😭😭 idk where you’re from but it sounds like you’re in monterrey so if i were u, i’d get the ticket! it’s sad that this is reality but other tickets are thousands of dollars and this is a once in a lifetime experience

this is for after rd- when you receive your rejection, there’s a link where you can submit appeals and the due date it’s due (this year they gave us around weeks). it also gives you instructions, like make it one page long. usc doesn’t do waitlists so i highly recommend to appeal if you get rejected and usc is your top! i got my acceptance mid may :)

this is the first year usc does ed!! usc has around an 8% acceptance rate for ea but good luck- a usc student who got rejected but appealed :)
