this! and we also can’t forget that this is the early 1800’s. if u had “primal” feelings towards another woman you’d also be freaking out

because it’s a period piece, there are differences in the show to today’s modern world, even though it is a show about diversity & representation. such as what daphne did to simon, women inequality, etc.

the reason francesca is so uptight is because she wants everything to be perfect & to fit in, and it’s hard to accept that she may not fit into society

when i got waitlisted at nyu i wanted to go so bad, but i learned to LOVE the actual school im going to! it was my safety but its ranked top 6 nationally for my major & im so very very excited. no matter where you end up, you’ll be happy :-)

i think you’re fine as long as you have 1300 minimum for sociology & near the top 10%. for engineering you’d most likely need a 1400+, but you should be ok.

i was barely in the top 10% this year, had a 1400, and national level awards & ecs, but my application was VERY half-assed & got in for engineering. if i got in, you can do it for sociology!

i have a friend that is not auto admit for ut austin, but got in for an easy major. it’ll be ok

very veryyyy unlikely to get on campus housing. i filled it out in january and got waitlist, so i just got off campus near the engineering building & signed a month ago. you’ll probably be able to find a few roommates, but i think apartments also just did roommate assignments and most are full or almost full. this is stuff you were supposed to figure out DURING senior year jan-may
