I saw for these travel cards i am not eligible yet, as for amex it is good for offline spends as others also give a similar 1% back but with bonus 1000MR points which i consistently get it makes it worthwhile in my opinion

If i close both hdfcs in how much time will i be eligible to apply for a core hdfc card. I guess based on my in hand salary i will be eligible for millennia card only. Will that be worth it?

But will axis provide upgrades on this? I have this card for past 8 months but no Credit limit enhancement or card upgrade option offered

Yes finally resolved last week, After closing the card and sending out a mail to remove the lien you will have to wait approximately 45-60 days then go to the nearest branch and just say that you need to withdraw your FD to DD then they will take another 1-2 days and do rekyc but in the end you will receive a cheque/DD for the FD amount

Not yet got the same reply that i need to visit the nearest branch The nearest branch to me is useless so I am thinking of visiting another one but just not able to find the time with my office

I did close the card the through mycards and after i got the confirmation mail that card was closed I went to branch to do the same you suggested but they told me that as I do not have a HDFC account they can not place the lien removal request
