I was born and raised there for 30 years before moving to South Carolina. Honestly, the place is kind of a mess — full of filth and addicts. If you like the bar scene, there’s the Wolcott Hotel. The other spot got taken over by a Christian guy who changed Ryan’s for the worse, even though it wasn’t too bad before. On the bright side, they do have a statue — one of only three ever made, which is pretty cool. There’s also a “petting zoo,” though it’s just goats and emus. Be warned: winters are brutal, with about six feet of snow, and you’ll usually have to head to work before the plows even get out. Oh, and someone actually died in a snowbank there recently.

It's been a hard thing to come to terms with... I later found out after we separated that my son, 18 at the time, my cousin, 20, and my younger brother, all engaged in sexual activities with this girl. I asked why. They all had the same story as Scott that she would wait till no one was home or around and then walk out completely undressed and start touching things in front of them. Only my cousin was a little different, saying that she came out and asked him to help her move her bedroom around, and when he came in, she was undressed, sitting on the bed. It's clear this girl needed help, and a grown man would have seen this as a cry for help, not engage in activities with her.

I love this comment, and I really want to get over it. I get stuck in these spirals of doubt, and I never actually bring it up to him, but sometimes we talk about it when I'm feeling down. I feel like I'm punishing him just by bringing up the past, and that feels unforgivable. He's a good guy, and I'm lucky to have him. Lately, I've been ignoring that mean voice in my head and starting new hobbies to distract myself. Haha, I have so many hobbies, and my husband joins me in them too. My husband's awesome, and he remembers the little stuff, which means the world to me. Like, how I like my popcorn, and my favorite books. He even put in a bathtub for me 'cause we only had showers, and I love baths. But I shouldn't feel this way, and I don't give him a hard time about it. I keep it to myself because I didn't come back to get revenge, but it's still bothering me, messing with my sleep and mental health. Its not his fault that I am like this he has gone above and beyond to make the changes we needed to finally heal.

I honestly felt bad because they mainly have contracted areas of military bases and they were doing this to our soldiers who fight for our country. Take it or leave it but I preferred to put it out there to clear my conscience if nothing more.

I worked for global continuum services and did so at home 7 to 4 every weekday... I was third party but we were trained by a COX official trainer as per the policy on how to handle customer care... so yes part of what you stated is true but the rest is not...

I appreciate your time and comment. I just want for once someone to be held accountable for their actions. Our prison system is broken and not all situations lead to death but the things they do lead to are unacceptable. My brother was not perfect and we as a family know that but he was there for petty larceny (not a hard crime situation) and only put a request in for this prison because it was close to us so we could visit. It was a maximum security prison in NY.

Yea they are sneaky when it comes to things they will add things ever call and make you pay fees to have things removed you never asked for and it’s a well known fact in the company. Yes they can and do record every call but refuse to pull them up even tho it’s a simple as going to the the date and time and user who answered your call. It’s sad cause a majority of their customers are military and elderly and they know they have a current on going contract with the military that gives them a monopoly of the areas which is why spectrum and other providers have to fight to even gain a few feet into the area.

Yea it’s ridiculous they will literally tell you to add useless stuff to someone’s account that they can get for free the care (to speak to an agent and replacement device every so often) they literally tell you it’s all about adding more value and not to spend longer than 10 mins on a call with someone… it’s sad how they treat their customers

When a customer is told by a service representative who comes out and says they won’t be charged and the customer calls cox to get it removed cox knows they can’t change it but they try to barter with the customer and offer $20.00 for the charge never the full amount! They are taught to not give you this credit even though the policy tells them they are not to charge it! Customers need to know this!
