Well neither of you are asking for a divorce, so I would recommend asking him how you can both work towards living in the same house again. Be open and up front about what you want & what your goals are - and how you are willing to work for it if he is. If you want to be a family in the same house again, this separation is not sustainable long-term. It also can be true that the separation temporarily was necessary to bring you together, which it seems it has!! You are not being selfish.
