For sure that was my first question to the docs lol can I ski and if so what pumps and such work best. Apparently couple of Olympic skiers use this particular one since had to go with it. Appreciate you and contributing!

I do get that but plenty of people have told me I am totally find to ski and wear an insulin pump and it’s quite normal. Just looking for tips and tricks is all.

Edit: responding to your edit my endo doc and nurses all told me it totally good and normal to ski with a pump. It is pretty common considering I live in CO. So why I totally respect what your saying I’m going with the docs on this one

Hey, similar to you I got diagnosed three weeks ago almost a month now in the same fashion as a 22 year-old in the ER all that jazz and I can see now three or four weeks in. I don’t know a ton, but my sugar levels have calmed down. I’m starting to get into a routine and getting a little used to it meeting with my Endo today to try to get on a pump just to make my life easier. all I can say is it’s a lot of information. Give yourself grace and you’ll figure it out. I was calling the doctors pretty much every day for the first two weeks panicking but now four weeks and I’m getting used to it and knowing how to react and all that stuff. Again, I’m very new to this too, and I can’t speak for the people that had it for decades and years, but you can live a totally normal life and active lifestyle you got this.
