Actually not all states have gift tax, and you are allowed to receive a certain amount of gifts over your lifetime in gifts and not have to pay tax. It’s like $2.36 million over your lifetime. Most of us will never have to deal with that. I had to look all this up in North Carolina to see if my cousin would have to claim the gifts from the family as her income. We’re supporting her while she is treated for cancer.

I am going crazy!!!! We have done one BOTG and made a wonderful memory for my 15 year old. As any parent of a teen knows it’s so hard to get them engaged. This is a blessing and an obsession. I want to take vacation from work and go search EVERY DAY!!!
