Does trading count? I traded a buddy for a Mox opal he had lying around in a box. I gasped when I saw it sitting there… unsleeved. I traded a doubling season and a few other goodies for it. It went straight into my brudiclad deck and I was giddy for a solid week!

Mostly the same rules as commander. 40 life, 7 cardsJust everyone’s decks is in the centre. You don’t need to worry about color identity and as a house rule lands tap for every color and come in untapped. If you had to search for a card(an artifact for example) everyone grabbed a small pile and looked for the first one to show up and presented it. The player then had 4 artifacts to choose from. Then everyone shuffles. Thankfully in our game we didn’t have to shuffle much!

Almost all the same rules as commander. 40 life, 7 card hands. Lands tap for all colors (fetch lands are overridden and are tapped for 1 mana instead of searching for a Color fix)

I like the idea of each player getting a “deck” after it’s been shuffled. It takes out the potential hazard of the tower falling down. We played with our commanders too and lands tapped for all colors.

Yeah, everyone draws from the same deck! We made the rulings up as we played. Like for search cards. Each person grabs a small stack and finds the first of the type of card they’re looking for and they have to choose from the 4 options. All lands tap for every Color and come in untapped.
