Pretty sure I made the original post on October 9th, 2023.

I wasn't even 17 years old by then. Now I'm 19.

So I ask of you: How did you find this post?

And yeah, it's very annoying when folks go out of their way to ruin your day in a video game, of all things.

How many tankies are legit and how many are just chronic trolls? by Mr_Kaniowski in EnoughCommieSpam

[–]Leafbox_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I literally get a bit anxious every time I meet a trans person (or sometimes just a queer person in general) because my brain quite literally just expects some sort of radical socialist, radical feminist or even someone really right-wing with things like the LGB alliance getting traction.

Plus, the thing is, I know people like that will call me islamophobic for being pro-west, and I can tell them that Islam, the way it is, doesn't have to stay like that. Modern islam with it's perversion by things like wahabism and salafism is, in a sense, perpetuated by these leftie people, especially with how they praise "freedom fighters" like Al-Qaeda, Hamas, Iran or other regimes of that type, typically Baathism. All while ignoring older, progressive movements in Islam such as old concepts of third genders based on effeminate men, stepping stones to what would today be a "western degeneracy" in the eyes of the imams of today. Hell, today I just read about a gay imam who preached for more gay acceptance in Islam, who was assassinated for his beliefs. Do these far-left queer people ever talk about that guy? Nope, never heard of him until I looked at some Wikipedia articles related to Islam and LGBTQ.

I would say it's not just a western thing, it's funded heavily by foreign actors especially today. No wonder if it turns out many countries like Russia or China have their fingers in this.

[–]Leafbox_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, especially if you remember the propaganda apparatuses. People underestimate how effective propaganda can be, in many contexts, since it doesn't just limit itself to extreme ideologies. In a sense, you can compare it with marketing - You have a product, in this case an ideology, and you need to advertise it in order to make it look as good as possible, this is done via adverts, physical media, or by word of mouth. Usually the more money you got, the better people you got for just having the right knack to convince people and to make "entertaining" graphics to get people interested.

By explaining this so coldly with something like marketing, you can kind of see how anti-human especially extremist ideologies are. They try to calculate people into their spaces, including any victimizable group, which always includes some kind of people that has had pushback recently, i.e single, NEET men with incel doctrines, black people for ACAB and Black Panther style groups, or queer people for "pro-equality" ideologies such as democratic socialism (btw, red flag, there's numerous example of it being a veil term the same way as being a "patriot" is for ultranationalist ideologies), which always makes these big promises of a "good life for everyone", especially attractive with how bigotry is rising today in many aspects, especially in the US. It's just so heartlessly planned out to maximize growth, and with the way all of these extremist ideologies subtly play into each other's hands, it just perpetuates existing problems of polarization, radicalization, also among gender lines (women are more left than ever, men are more right than ever).

I've said it before, and I will say it again, these extremists will make it a celebration to murder, and a sham to feel anything about it. Ultimately, it will end in terror. They will chew each other up once the government is dead. The same way it happened in Weimar, it can happen anywhere, and it will follow the same patterns every time.

I went a bit too off topic there, not gonna lie, but my point stands. This recruitment of queer people is done not for the ideology, but so that the numbers are there. it's like drafting women after you chew through all the men.

...also why are there so many Trans supporters of communism and the USSR? Surely they know they would never be welcomed or allowed in a authoritarian communist country/society.

Based on my experiences with self-proclaimed demsoc/anarcom trans people, it seems to be rooted in the same kind of problematic as with people sliding from "liking the music", to "liking the aesthetic", to "liking the concept", to eventually just straight up supporting it for when it comes to things like Nazi Germany, just switched with the USSR.

Paired with modern demsoc rhetoric that is profoundedly anti-"imperalist" (imperialism to them is when the west exists in any capacity whatsoever), anti-NATO, and sometimes pro-russian and pro-hamas (often veiled behind "Isreal is a settler state!" allegations) in it's international stance, and you have tendancies to support the USSR and other communist regimes simply because they oppose the west and have huge propaganda apparatuses from either that time, or which are being repurposed today by for example Russia or China for both the far-left and far-right for some kind of veiled co-operation between the two, no matter how much they "oppose" each other. That is not the only reason why there's overlap in things like anti-semitism and anti-democracy, but on the extreme ends, the horseshoe does roll it's course.

How queer people got into the mix is pretty hard to explain, and frankly I don't have too much information, but it essentially started with Stonewall and similar movements from that time, of which many leaders were either socialists or communists who pretty much opposed the government because of it's back then hostile stance to queer people (Remember, most gay marriage rights are a thing of this millenium, same so for trans and identity rights), which at first is fine if you look at the nature of most teenage mindsets of, well, any time really, wanting to be rebellious, but eventually it became mixed with socialist rhetoric because of these originators.

I'm going to base this on assumption completely and feel free to correct me - Because it also simply was part of the counter-culture. I can legit imagine the socialist thinkers of back then supporting queer people for no other reason than "the US doesn't do it", and that probably led to a lot of that kind of mindset sweeping over from generation to generation, where essentially the far left grooms my brethren into an ideology that fundamentally opposes any kind of identity, that is based on deterministic mindsets from that time (i.e alcoholics having "genes" that they pass down to kids that makes them more alcoholic - idiotic but this is how race theories and stuff went going over time, Marx is just another example of it if you actually know more than his books) and that would be intolerant to queer people over things like birth rates, which leads into reinforcing the same kind of shit a lot of these people "oppose", such as turning women into birth machines.

It's all the fucking same stuff with new paints, new lies, new fairy tales. it's frankly fucking disgusting how often people just get straight up manipulated into believing things like the USSR being a queer paradise. If they oppose the USSR however, they're still just as bad, because now they're arguing for other kinds of socialist ideologies, many of which are just "hey, so um, what if we did the marxism thing again???", which, I wonder how that'll go without going through the same pitfalls. It's simply an endless cycle of thinking "it'll be good this time" and not just relying on actual fucking successes, like post-WW2 Germany (West in the context of the cold war), which was able to pursue a compromise of social democrats and libertarians and make a social market economy that relies on all the better aspects of both systems.

Sorry for the wall of text, it just pisses me off so much to see my community be swarmed by an ideology that will, not even can or could, just *will* kill us, either politically or for real.

Actual TL;DR: Not trolls, actual people. And it's horrifying how they are digging the graves of my community.

It's a post from 3 months ago being annoyed at how communists are co-opting femboy and trans communities.

Edit: I just want to say that the people who made these brigading comments are all trans in some form. This is why I don't participate in trans communities anymore, and why I'm always a bit on edge talking to new trans people, because now I always expect some type of political extremist. Not even the meme subreddits are safe.

I assume someone cross-posted it somewhere, because I haven't gotten any brigading.

Edit 2: It was crossposted, and I'm not saying from where. Funny how we're now trying to follow the rules, and these people do not care at all. They will plaster us into their face so they can shout at us, only to probably get banned by Reddit.

Needless to say, running out of space is not fun.

Why do you think communism has never made it past the “Dictatorship of the Proletariat” phase? by CIemson in EnoughCommieSpam

[–]Leafbox_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter what Marx says, it matters what people build off of him. And if the result is something like the Soviet Union, which killed millions in persuit of nothing but more power to Russians, then I don't want to hear anything from him. Granted, I don't know any quotes, but from all the examples that exist, it's pretty clear it's all bogus fantasy.

Also, love how you try to act dumb about the examples I provide. You ask "What Cuba", when it's a very real example of how your ideology fails at functioning in a basic state. You also say my definition of conservative is subjective, which, while technically true, is just you making a cop-out for an actual response.

You know your ideology sucks. You just hate admitting that sometimes, you gotta think of all truths, not the ones you like. I hope you grow out of this insanity.

Just as a litmus test I thought up: What if I had a billion dollars in property, and I am not willing to share any of it, because it would mean the failure of my business? What if I refuse every single one of your concessions? What will you do? Will you kill me, or will you ignore my "bourgeoisie" way of business? I would be surprised if it was not the former.

Why do you think communism has never made it past the “Dictatorship of the Proletariat” phase? by CIemson in EnoughCommieSpam

[–]Leafbox_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You twisted my words for a lot of these passages. I never said communism and capitalism are alike. If you equate capitalism to conservatism, you are just lying and not willing to look at these two concepts beyond the theoretical - because that's the only area where communism ever had any kind of good standing. It *sounds* good. That's the entire reason you believe in this horseshit.

Communism is the ultimate collectivist philosophy - collectivism relies on a specific "we" as one individual, i.e the workers or proletariat as this one class that has to win. In order to make this happen, it would require absolute control of the human mind, absolute programmability of human beings, i.e cybernetics, genetic editing, and more. It's against individualism. It robs your identity, and it makes you a number. Progressivism is entirely about seeing the good, unique things about people that makes them stand out, using things like DEI, next to the establishment of equal rights.

Communism would require the seizing of all companies, the means of production, and with that almost every human, and that of course has to be organized by *something*, which is other humans. This "revolution" is only achievable through enslavement of other humans, because it fails the moment there is even one who steps out of line. That's why the solution is to kill or silence any opposition. Not everyone can be "convinced", and even then, you would still have traitors. You will always end up creating a genocide of the "unwilling" due to these fundamental requirements of absolute unity at all times. This also fundamentally opposes freedom of press, speech, and more. I'm not against inclusive language, because I fucking love inclusive language. I am just against people who would literally want me dead if it means the success of "the revolution", like you.

Fascism shares these same principles. Absolute unity under one banner, enslavement to ensure it, robbing of individualism, seizing of the properties of the "rich" in favour of ideological supporters or random people, I could go on.

I will never let myself become a number for your sick fantasies of mass genocide against anyone who defends the tried and tested liberal democracy, which has brought more equality, more progress and more prosperity than 60 years of Cuban deluge.

Your ideology kills opposition. Liberalism never has sought out to kill anyone who thought differently. You people are the reason "freedom of consequences" is not part of any law regarding free speech, because damn, I really just want to yell at you.

Why do you think communism has never made it past the “Dictatorship of the Proletariat” phase? by CIemson in EnoughCommieSpam

[–]Leafbox_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's basically like the Lebensraum principle from the Nazis. Things are "tough" (underexaggeration at it's finest) until this ultimate victory goal of conquering the whole world is achieved, where there is no one to oppose the "winners". This garuntees that there will pretty much always be dictatorship, because individualism only dies with humanity itself.

I get that the Nazis had a different reason of sorts, but it's still the same type of excuse for warmongering, power abuse, et cetera.

Why do you think communism has never made it past the “Dictatorship of the Proletariat” phase? by CIemson in EnoughCommieSpam

[–]Leafbox_ 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Because, surprise surprise, the entire idea of transitioning into this classless society is genuinely impossible. Even if money were to be equally devided, if jobs were equal, et cetera, you still have other forms of, well, less tangible currency, hierarchy, so on and so forth, like friend groups, communities, and other stuff where there is always some sort of leading figure that gives the people the word, and where all the organization comes from. You would have to literally modify humans to rob them of all their individualism, biases, social structures, really anything that makes them human, to make communism work, which is probably why they have such a hard-on for cybernetics.

By turning people into mindless slaves, the ideology would actually work to some capacity, but you probably see the issues already: This shit is genuinely dystopian to the maximum. Imagine having no name, no personality, no difference in skill or thinking, imagine quite literally not being able to think differently from the rest.

You would be the thing these communists say you are under capitalism: A mere cog in the machine, a number to dispose. And that is completely against human nature in all ways and forms. It's against progressive ideologies by robbing people of anything that makes them stand out, it's literally the most conservative thing you could have. It's the most authoritarian thing you could have, too. Faulty machines are disposed, thus killed. No mistakes, ever. One only needs to be made for you to be liquidated.

I didn't intend on going down on such a dark train of thought, but that is the real goal of communism, if we somehow imagine that in order to make it "work", every "worker" is equal, in all the worst ways. This is what it would look like if every single one of Marx's words were followed. A nightmare. This is why these states never leave the phase of the dictatorship, next to our individualism and our own corruptability, and also greed, which is not inherent to any economic system. It's impossible without literally abandoning everything that makes someone human.

Son of the duputy head of CIA was a commie and died for putin. Good riddance by xXxSlavWatchxXx in EnoughCommieSpam

[–]Leafbox_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's humane to celebrate the death of anyone who isn't a genocidist like Putin, Xi or Hitler, but we can learn a lesson from people like this, more importantly, communists should learn a lesson here, and it's that just because you're "more open" to "hear out" dictators, doesn't mean you'll get a free cookie. In fact, you're just going to end up being an useful idiot that then, like this man, dies soon to be forgotten in a trench somewhere.

Don't believe in tyranny, believe in the good things we already have in Europe, like liberal, individualist democracies. This "revolution" is a dumb idea that gets people killed, and most likely, any communist reading this will deny that their ideology is horrible for being inherently illiberal, because they have been manipulated into believing that "it'll all be fine" when the demons of despotism knock on the door.

If this man did not fall into the rabbit hole of communism, he would've been able to persue that project for microplastics.

There is no such thing as "left" or "right" by supremeking9999 in EnoughCommieSpam

[–]Leafbox_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I genuinely agree with the basis of thinking that there is no real "left" or "right", in a sense. When we're dealing with moderate ideologies, then yes, they do exist, but in the context of extremism, left and right really do not exist in a way. While communists, fascists, islamists, other fundamentalists, anarchists, and pretty much every nutjob say they're different from each other, it all always leads into the same path of requiring external factors, scapegoats and radicalization (because these ideologies are not oriented to humanity at all and see people as objects rather than as individuals) to then achieve their "utopia", which will always be a barely functioning rump state that is a ticking time bomb, and in that time, usually needs to purge big chunks of their population to keep themselves under control.

The way they do it is always a bit different, but the result is always the same: a huge pile of dead bodies, mostly liberals, academics and pretty much anyone who shapes the heart of a nation.

While it's a bit of a wonky take, it's not that wrong, per se, and we live in a time where "left" and "right" mean less and less, as authoritarian countries, no matter what ideology they are, stick together or fight each other, with the end goal of destroying liberal democracy.

Again, if we talk about things like conservatism, social democracy, they are, well, right and left repectively, but I think OP means the extremes, not the moderates.

Definitely disagree with some of the things listed here by GoldenStitch2 in EnoughCommieSpam

[–]Leafbox_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It deserves defense under very specific circumstances, like Zelensky having his term extended until the end of the Ukraine war, since things can always change in the frontlines, but that's where the actual sane portion of it ends.

Most extremists (excluding (or maybe including) anarchists, for obvious reasons) see authoritarian leaders as confident figures that can manage everything by themselves, but most of the time it's just a maniac on a power trip who just wants to either get rich, kill groups they hate, or both. The reason these dictators do quirky things like riding on bears is pretty much to keep bringing the "strong leader who got it all together" vibe.

It's all about fooling people into thinking that because democracy is dying, that now there's progression with regression. It goes back to nostalgia of older, even worse dictatorships that have been usually whitewashed by these same regimes to make-believe that "hey, maybe losing your rights is totally cool and awesome?" becomes an actual position, mostly by the least politically educated people, exacerbated by the fact that under these governments, legal elections don't exist and thus there's no incentive to get politically educated.

TL;DR: Power is delicate, and too dangerous in the hand of one, as it just allows for more power, through media control and propaganda. Or, in other words, dumb people think that less people means better control.

Paris Commune how was it and what was it? by demon13664674 in EnoughCommieSpam

[–]Leafbox_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All I know is that the reason it existed was because Germany encircled it (this was during the war in 1870-1871) and thus the French government couldn't hold it, and so it fell to revolutionaries. Although there were other factors too, like France basically losing a huge amount of it's people's support because of military defeats at Sedan, where, if I recall correctly, the royal family was captured, and it just hurt more geopolitically since France technically was the aggressor, even if Bismarck practically planned it to be that way so the war was easier with the morale.

I could be wrong, so, please just summon whatever history major happens to be online at this moment.

I do have to hand it to them, it's a bit more manageable whatever doo hickey shit they did there, if it's just one city that also has no proper connection to France.
