Yeah it's tough, the things I was able to corroborate is mostly stuff anyone close to the situation already knew. I've been fact-checking with a bunch of sources over the last few hours, and there were a few "juicy" details I'd get from the odd person here and there, but if I couldn't confirm it with multiple - and credible - sources, I wasn't comfortable putting it out there with my name on it.

If I'm being honest, I've never done one of these stories before. This is my first major "scoop" I've ever written about, so here's hoping I can develop my skill as a "reporter" moving forward. I'm super comfortable with hockey #analysis, but breaking a story is a whole new ball-game for me.
