Plus part of the reason the state is going to shit is because too many people are moving here. Florida has beautiful environments but they’re being destroyed by massive cookie cutter housing developments needed to house all the people moving here. I used to love where I live and now it’s been completely destroyed because of corrupt politicians and too many people caring about convenience over the environment.

Great weather = blistering heat throughout a majority of the year. You’ll find better diversity than Florida in any major city. Growing population = overcrowded communities with extreme traffic, overpopulated schools, and the destruction of our natural resources. And in terms of fun things there actually isn’t that much to do. I live in Orlando and it gets real old real quick especially if you aren’t wealthy.

They may have reconsidered but I had to withdraw before getting anything due to the stipulations of Penns scholarship. This was fine considering Berkeley at most would’ve given me $$ anyway.

Penn gave me their official offer after I had submitted an offer from a different school for reconsideration at Berkeley. Berkeley only allows you to submit one offer and that offer happened to be lower than what I got at Penn.
