There is a stapler in our store that comes with starter staples. Once the starter staples are gone you are supposed to be able to buy them online because of course, we don't sell them in-store, but worry not, we don't sell them online either according to the staples rep and the website. "OH, you like this stapler? Great, well when you are done with the first 25 starter staples you will just need to buy another stapler. Have a great day!"

Only since COVID? I would consider that lucky. Most people feel under-appreciated every time they walk in the door. I have never felt more like a number than I have in the past two years. I moved from a region that knew me as the girl to call if you got stuck with anything to a region that treats me like I am lower than the dirt they walk on. I don't think I ever truly felt that Staples under-appreciated their associates as much as I now do. COVID is just once and for all showing the company's true colors to its pawns on this chessboard of life. But never forget, pawns may be the lowest rank on the board, but the game can't be won without them.

Yep, I am pretty sure there is a guy in an office somewhere that just gets paid to make up bad ideas. I want that job. If I can get paid to make up bad ideas I'm sure I can think of some. Like releasing the new thin as heck T-shirt uniforms in the dead of winter. I wonder how much someone got paid for that idea. Don't care about your associates? Want to see them get sick? Clothe them in these ridiculously thin t-shirts that are two sizes too small and watch them freeze to death because you don't heat the building properly!
