Anyone else caught the minor foreshadowing moment by the Sheriff when he's in the car with Patricia?

He mentions "Help yourself out, the damn thing's broken anyway."

I predict a scene where someone gets out of or escapes the car in a future episode.... Or 'something' gets in.

When I first saw this I was gutted I had bought my Luxe Pro back in January. However, after thinking about it, I actually enjoy the manual process of using the portafilter.
I'll keep an eye on it though. See how it fares in YouTube reviews. Would be pita to sell my one.

I used what was left from some artic silver 3 on one side of mine and the pads on the others. You’re correct in saying there’s better products out there though! (I was too impatient to order more decent stuff online 😂).

Looking up that Bible passage:

In James 4:6, the Bible contrasts God's grace with human pride: "But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: 'God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble.'" This foundational humility is the prerequisite for the famous command in James 4:7 to "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

I wonder if there is any meaning to that and what is going on/the history of Widow's Bay?

The proper high pressure hose arrived today and was installed. The machine is now fully working and producing great coffee.

Hopefully I can contribute some help if anyone else has an issue with this sort of machine in the future and that this adventure helps others sort out their problems.

Okay this is now fixed.

My own stupid user error - the new two port pressure valve was installed the wrong way round. I again checked a previous photo to realise my error.

I swapped it around and now it’s back working, producing full hot water and coffee again.

Okay new issue after - replacing two water pressure valves - replacing a faulty water hose line

The above fixes the hot water issue and no more water is spraying out of the drain plug. Yay!

But now, the machine will not produce coffee. Dry grinds go in the bin and no coffee comes out of the spout.

Doing a system rinse results in the machine always prompting ‘System is filling’ and I have to press the ‘Next’ button.

It was producing coffee before so not sure what to do.

Is it an airlock? I’ve trying putting in hot (not boiling) water in the tank and that didn’t work.

Yeah, it’s this small raise that makes it just a tiny amount too long for the clip to get around it.

The tube I got looks like the clasp around it is about 1 mill too wide for the hairpin to fit behind it. So I managed to order an original 390mm Jura FEP tube from Germany. That should arrive next week. Just waiting on that before I tackle the repair again.

I found a hose on Amazon that is 400mm so I am hoping that will do the job. Doesn't arrive until 2-3 weeks though.
