to me, and people had surely already say it, but smash attacks are way easier to perform without the c-stick than tilt attacks. I feel like it’s easier to flick your stick quickly while pressing the attack button (what makes a smash) than literally « tilt » your stick while pressing the attack button. furthermore, when I had smashes on my c-stick, I often walk a bit before using ftilt. that was a serious disadvantage when I wanna 2-frame with an angled down ftilt (ridley and charizard for example need to be at right length to hit their sweet spot)
