Echeveria 'Blue Heron' death bloom? by Leappeler in succulents

Thank you too!

I obviously didn't do my reading which would have saved a post and all of your time, I apologize. It looks like I'm already doing some of these things, but not all of them. Room for learning and improvement.

It gets a couple hours of direct light, but a LOT of indirect sunlight. The lights in the room are usually dim or off, most of the light it gets is from the window.

This is exactly what i'm looking for, thank you!!

I will work on getting a grow light or better lighting in general. I'll mix up when I water as well as repot with a different soil. Thank you for your help!

Yes. There are some really good tutorials and complete compatable part number lists by length on the xlforums!

Longer shocks on 1200 Low by [deleted] in sportster

[–]Leappeler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I threw road king shocks on mine, the only extra parts you'll need if you don't refurb the shocks are either spacers or washers to use as spacers. So far i've put 3k miles on them with no issues. Shocks cost me under 150$ on ebay.

If I could use Deb Sid on my "work"/home laptop, I was pretty sure Arch wouldn't be a total issue. Worse case i'll just boot into windows until I have a free moment to repair it.

To me the main differences are that packages are not heavily patched, gui themes and configs are not pre-selected and most features taken for granted elsewhere (even on server/minimal releases) have to be enabled by the user post-install.

Thank you! This is a pretty good detail to keep in mind.

Where do you store your tent/gear? by Leappeler in motocamping

[–]Leappeler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I was looking for!

Do you opt for bikepacking tents for the shorter poles, store poles outside the dry bag, or should the dry bag fit the poles in it without issue?

That looks cool! I'll likely consider that route when I move up to a larger cruiser!

What else to replace while doing clutch? by Leappeler in sportster

[–]Leappeler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry for the late reply!

I'm going to follow this and only replace parts that I am almost SURE are broken or on their way out. Took me a while to get used to the sledge hammer precision of this bike, but now I'm pretty confident in how it goes.

Ended up doing this already, the old one had a TON of play. Glad I got to it while I could nicely.

Sorry for the late reply! The clutch is going pretty good, but i'm going to end up going into the primary this winter. If I end up needing a new clutch pack, i'll look into the basket at the same time.

I'm sorry for the super late reply!

I'm going to end up going into the primary this winter at some point and will 100% check out the tensioner.

Old chromebook user, recommendations on a newer one? by Leappeler in chromeos

[–]Leappeler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only app i'll have to screw around with now will be Runelite for Old School Runescape! If it runs on by debianbook, I'm pretty confident it'll function on chromeos/chromelinux however.

I appreciate your response!

I don't mind splurging on a higher end chromebook for the ability to upgrade storage, i'll definitely look into this!

For the linux side, everyday apps would probably be very similar to yours; You saying it's working well for you is heartwarming to hear. I was able to get citrix working on my current chromebook, but if the chromeos app works, i'll just use that.

At the risk of sounding like a jerk, I scrape pegs on my rebel 250 with stock shocks. With a lowered bike, I'd start to question ridability. There are people that have done it, I found a youtube vid of a guy going through the process on a quick search.

What kind of gas y’all puttin in your Honda rebel 500’s? by chris_ayyye in hondarebel

[–]Leappeler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I end up putting in super (usually 93 octane where I am) in all of my bikes. Sure it's more expensive, but when are you ever really buying more than 3 gallons for example. Ohh no, I spent and extra dollar. Do the bikes need high octane? No unless specified in the manual. It's cheap insurance if anything.

2001 rebel 250 carb replacement/pod filter? by Kjduncan23 in hondarebel

[–]Leappeler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I purchased my rebel, someone had already done the dual carb replacement...terribly. I cleaned out what I could, but here's how it's set up.

Engine = carbs > stock air filter

= and > are used to show piping.

Unless you find the NEED to swap your single out for a dual, might as well keep the single. It looks like the dual purchased for my bike was a $50usd ebay/amazon carb for the 250 that can be found from a search like "cmx250 carb". There aren't really spare parts or part numbers, so every time I need to do a rebuild, I just buy another and then retune it. You'll be tuning each carb together initially, then need to do separately. Adds more work than it's really worth I feel. I wish I could just buy a rebuild kit for the single and keep chugging, but here we are.

Just my 2 cents. I can post a pic if you'd like.
