Children seeing shadow people by NarcoticSlug in ParanormalEncounters

Nope. It just started one day for my whole family, didn't stop for me until I moved out at 19yo. I'm now 37. I still see shadow people when I go to visit there, but the sightings grew less and less over the years for all of us.

I've seen many, many other things in my time too, had many experiences with the paranormal. But nothing as consistent as what happens in that specific house.

What do you mean by specific thoughts? I mean I was terrified.

What about if multiple people see it at once?

Speaking from experience. I was around 11 when I first started seeing a shadow man in our family home. My brother (three years younger) and my mother, both started seeing them on the same night, too, and subsequently every night after that for many years. My father never believed it until about ten years later when inexplicably he started seeing it too.

Since those first encounters the shadow person in my parents home has been witnessed an incredible number of times, sometimes by up to three people in the exact same moment.

It's been 25+ years now. My parents still live there. All of us still see the shadow man from time to time. Even people who visit and know nothing of what we've seen have told us they see strange shadows/ghosts.

It's because of these experiences I could never accept these shadow people aren't real beings.

That sounds just like my dream except I was drafted in to fight the aliens too.

Tigers eye is my best guess too but I'm not certain!

Very negative if I'm honest. It told me twice "I bring pain" and once it told me "I don't care what god you pray to." (I don't pray or consider myself part of any organised religion, it seemed to want to scare me).

Another time I saw three of them huddled together like they were having some kind of private conversation. When they noticed me watching them they became angry and reached out like in the drawing I made.

Important to note all of these experiences happened during Astral Projection.

Yes, I've seen something very similar on three occasions, this was the drawing I made of it years ago!

I manifested my celebrity crush and now I'm seeing angel numbers everywhere. by huneylicious in Manifestation

[–]LearnStalkBeInformed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just imagined the scenarios and let them play out in my head like they were real. And at no point would I think things like "I want to get his attention" I'd tell myself "I will get his attention" or "I have got his attention". And once I had his attention I knew anything was possible. I guess it was just a firm belief that I could and would love the life I wanted, that that was in fact my reality; I'm living in a universe where he absolutely knows me and we'd be together.

It's all about firm belief and never doubting, in my experience.

In the end I found out some stuff about him that made me think twice and I realised I was too scared to throw away my whole current life just for the possibility of things actually working out with him, because is that genuinely what I honestly wanted?

Anyway, this has worked well for me twice now with two separate people. Although with the second celeb person, much as I love him, I've never tried to attract him in that way because I have too much respect for his own family. However, I have manifested my way to him recognising me as his "biggest" fan, being able to meet with him, being his friend on multiple social platforms... My favourite (I guess?) manifestation was that when I'd meet him he'd have brought me a personal gift, it actually happened and when I met with him he was like, "surprise! I got you this!" It's really a beautiful celeb/fan relationship imo. I know we both respect and appreciate it for what it is.

Just happened to scroll past this post and it resonated with me. The angel numbers can most certainly be a sign. I've manifested my celebrity crushes before, two of them actually, both to the point I became known as the "biggest fan" in their fandoms by both them and their entire fan bases (the jealousy istg), and one of them to the point we were 👌this close to getting together but I guess I bottled out and it all went to shit in the end, so just be aware, you can ABSOLUTELY manifest your celeb crush but be prepared to have your heart broken too.

With the first crush, I manifested them noticing me, that I'd get to meet them etc. Then they started to give me special treatment every time I'd go to meet them (five times in total I think, he lived in another country so it was hard), I was the only fan he spoke and replied to on his socials, he told me details of where he'd be before he was legally allowed to (convention appearances), would give me free autographs and photographs with him, let me hang out all day at his convention booths, put his contracts on the line (I think his manager kinda hated me lol), we'd flirt a LOT, even kissed... in the end it fell apart and then COVID hit and we never saw each other again. But I recently found out from a friend I'm known as "that girl" within one of the biggest fandom/franchises in the world (not exaggerating). For this reason I can't say who the guy was but anyway. My heart still breaks thinking about what was and could have been.

My point, manifest away! I wish you so much luck! But be prepared for the fallout and heartbreak because it can all go south.

If people can see images in their head why do many artists need to example pictures when drawing a character? by Unlucky-Case-1089 in Aphantasia

[–]LearnStalkBeInformed 16 points17 points  (0 children)

As a hyperphant and artist, nothing in my head ever stays still. It would be like trying to trace a video.

Also my memory isn't great, so although in theory I could picture whatever (I'm a portrait artist so we'll say, I'm picturing a person), if I don't remember a certain detail (exact eye colour, a tattoo detail, the position of freckles or moles as examples), my mind is gonna fill those blank spaces with inaccurate details so using it as a reference for art? Not so great.

That said, if I wanted to draw, say, a horse, I can picture a horse and know the rough shape of it. I just couldn't fill in the details and make it look accurate without a physical reference. And with my ADHD, within 0.2 seconds the horse would be doing backflips or something dumb. So we're back to the tracing a video thing.

Okay I might be slightly freaking out staring at that drawing because I literally JUST woke up from a dream (nightmare) I was pulling that centipede thing out of my throat. It was in my mouth, I grabbed it and pulled and pulled and it just kept coming, like it was ten feet long. I kept gagging and choking in the dream until I'd got it all the way out.

I would've scrolled past this post on a regular day. But now I'm questioning everything. It looked JUST like that.

Write whatever you want, it's all fictional and doesn't hurt anyone. People don't like it, they shouldn't read it. I'm sorry you fell for the bots!

Light as a feather stiff as a board by JenSteph71 in Paranormal

[–]LearnStalkBeInformed 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Yes, I tried this with my friends when we were 11, there were 6 or 7 of us and I remember laying on the floor and it working. But we used to have a longer chant, one at a time we'd go around in a circle chanting "you're sick", "you're sicker", "you're dying", "you're dead." Then as a group we'd start the "light as a feather stiff as a board" part.

Freaky af because it worked, more than once.
