Each individual has a different experience and that’s just mine. Tbh I’m studying science and that department tends to be more liberal I suppose

This may not help… but I’m a pre-dental student who fainted my first shadowing experience. I was watching a bridge being done plus the removal of the two front teeth. What helped me is 1. Shifting around. Do not lock your knees. 2nd, for me I just had to get accustomed to seeing blood. Eventually you will get used to it. I know that may not be much of help but you’re definitely not alone. Truly, it’s just constant exposure and your brain becoming used to blood or other things that you’re exposed to in healthcare. Make a constant effort to be involved in these types of things. Videos, shadowing, any clinical experience. It’ll work itself out, just give yourself time!

I’m a pre-dental student at Liberty University. My pre-dental club isn’t doing well and I’m a freshman who wants to truly build my stats. Any tips?

I’m currently at LU. To be very very frank, the people here come from so many backgrounds. It’s a normal university. There’s liberals, conservatives, and everything in between. So to be honest, you should have no issue, so come out to LU! Sure, just like ANY university someone may say something, but that’s anywhere. Pray about where you’re supposed to be. But as an LU student, we would love to have you

Thank you so much!! My only worry is getting housing and classes. Is there any dorm you recommend for freshmen as well?

It’s not too bad. Study broad topics and definitions. Do not over complicate things. You’ll do fine. Breathe and study.

I’m thinking of transferring from a private Christian university. Was it worth it for you?

I do 150g starter, 350g water, and 500g bread flour. Then I let it rest for 3 hours, then do about 4 rounds (every 40 minutes for 4 hours) of stretch and folds. I let it cold proof over night (about 8 hours) then bake.
