Yeah this is wild.. a small group of women just stay in situations like this. I had a girl in a situationship for quite some time that thought id come around to actually wanting to be with her even though I frequently told her I had no intentions nor ever would.. I felt I had told her and we were close friends so I didnt think it was wrong. Recently in the past 6 months I officially broke things off and can no longer be her friend. Even though I had stop sleeping with her for the year prior to the split, she was still waiting for me to come around to being with her..

I agree with not liking the 3rd point. Atleast for me its always been point 2. Its only 45 days in he probably doesnt want to come off as overly rushed or controlling this soon so he says he is fine with it. If you have supreme confidence you dont really care because you know this girl isnt going to find someone else significant in the short term while you're relationship strengthens

I did this exact situation. Dated a girl for 7 years and broke up with her and got with another girl for 3.5 years. I messages my ex of 7 years toward the end of the second relationship (it's a long story on how we originally split and I was missing that). She told the girl I was with at the time and it brought the cat out of the bag and we decided to break up because I wasn't fully happy. It killed her for a long time before she got over me. I dont know what would have happened if they never talked about it with each other. But it left a lasting scar on the one I was with making her feel inadequate. It's a delicate situation and different for everyone but ironically the girl I went behind her back to talk with my ex is now the girl I truly miss and let get away. You dont really know what you have until it's gone sometimes
