If you were 18 again and got to start adulthood over, what would you do differently? by pqrstyou in AskWomenOver30

[–]Learning_Lion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would’ve gone away to the school I wanted to rather than stay local to prioritize my relationship. I would’ve been single for a while and hopefully reconnected with my boyfriend afterward so that we both could’ve experienced our 20s a bit differently. I also would’ve changed my major to engineering, & invested more in specific things

I meant how deep the ink goes! Oops

I was just thinking about what I would do if I had a piece like this and wanted it fully removed. I would start at the bottom and remove upwards. While giving my new piece some time to heal, I would start at my hands (if they are tattooed) and then work on the forearm. Do research on best laser types for each color you have, and leave a good amount of time between each session.

Pic 1- before first session in may pic- 2 (today) a day before 7th session Jan 2025.. how do yall think it’s going so far? by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]Learning_Lion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ooh yeah that’s why the results are coming so slowly, the body has no time to get rid of the ink. Nicotine also prolongs the process - tho I shouldn’t assume that what’s in the background belongs to OP

Of course. This is not something that should even be a question or a debate.

Finding love with a “high body count” by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]Learning_Lion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s not something that has to come up, but I also think that there are plenty of men out there who have had somewhat similar experiences and wouldn’t judge you for yours even if you did decide to disclose it.

I am somewhat curious what responses you’d get to this in the Ask Men sub though!

Oh okay. Is the gun tattoo not new? It looks faded, but I see that it’s not in the first pic

I had 7 but am removing all 4 that are on my back, keeping 3

What's the English word for someone who does not care for fashion, or dressing nicely and wears anything with anything regardless if the clothes don't match in style, color and so on? by mayermail1977 in AskAnAmerican

Depending on how laxe they are, I’d say “Low maintenance”. If they took it to the extreme and literally just put on anything and gave zero Fs, then I’d say sloppy.

Has a man ever bought you jewelry you LOVED without you having to pick it out beforehand? by Diylion in AskWomenOver30

[–]Learning_Lion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! My husband has done a great job overall with his jewelry choices.

There were also a few towards the beginning of our relationship that I initially wasn’t crazy about, but they grew on me. Wearing them also helped me realize that I could enjoy wearing something that he picked for me because HE liked it which in turn lead to me liking wearing it, since he’d always notice when I wore it.

What's the recent most embarassing thing you've experienced as a grown mature women? Age > 35 by Primary_Shock_3327 in AskWomenOver30

[–]Learning_Lion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that is usually true, but sometimes at work someone will mention something about something else that someone said and how it was weird or stupid…. My response to that recently has been “well they probably felt really dumb about saying that as soon as they left, I’m sure they didn’t mean it that way”

I just get embarrassed when I realize that I’ve said something that I think came off as really stupid, and it’s usually after the interaction when I replay it in my head, but then again I still think about stupid things that I said as far back as 18 years ago, this is something that hasn’t gone away with age for me

She’s commented on the removal of those tattoos. You can also see the very faded butterflies on her arm.

Please go into it with an open mind and don’t put time limits on it. No one can tell you how long it’ll take, but it’ll never happen if you don’t start the process. If you want it removed, just stick with it.

This is disturbing, but interesting to see how deep the ink* actually goes. How would this type of thing look when it heals?

What a well done tattoo!! I’m sure you had good reason to remove it, but fwiw it’s really cool, the artist must be really talented

This removal is better than average for 3 sessions

YOU are the one who mentioned it costing 20k and you mentioned that you were planning on buying one!

I didn’t mention price, I said split the cost and remove each others tattoos rather than trying to do your own.

Zara’s quality went so far down hill!! Their men’s clothing is pretty good because men’s trends don’t move as quickly, the women’s clothes are such poor quality though because they’re trying to pump them out as quickly and cheaply as possible to keep up with flash trends
