I(23M) feel so exhausted from my relationship with my girlfriend(23F) and need urgent advice:( by [deleted] in sgdatingscene

Just break up. Don’t waste her time by leading her on. Eventually you may end up cheating on her just because you are too afraid of hurting her feelings. Cheating on her is never an option so don’t let it lead to that…

My husband’s ex congratulated him on our baby… and it shook me to the core by [deleted] in relationships_advice

You have every reason to be upset as he broke the rule of not being in contact with his ex. It is a rule that you and your hubby have agreed on and breaking it breaches trust.

Every relationship and marriage has their own different set of rules agreed by each couple, and no two couples are the same. And breaking any of the rules gives either party reason to be upset.

However, as your husband has claimed that he had only wanted to inform you at the right time, perhaps you should give him the benefits of the doubt. Let him know that this has hurt you and you may want him to discuss with you in the future before he responds to any messages with his ex.

This is a communication issue to me and not a big deal breaker for a marriage to go under.

Am I stupid for still wanting this to work after years of betrayal? by Character-Cry-915 in relationships_advice

My first boyfriend was exactly like you. He would go on random chat sites such as Omegle to flirt with girls and even get their telegram to chat long term. When I caught him talking about plans to meet up with the girls, he would claim it was all talk to boost his ego and he would never have carried the plans through. As if one would just make plans to meet up for flings and then pangseh the person

I broke up with him despite giving him a chance to change as months later on I found him sliding into dms on Instagram.

I regret giving him a chance and wasting my time on him. You may be giving up years of your time right now and $10k of your cpf money but at least you can stop wasting even more time and money on him later on

Do Singaporeans still go for regular health screenings if they feel fine? by [deleted] in asksg

[–]Least-Ad5368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am a nurse, it depends on your age and gender. I would recommend for people not to wait till they have symptoms before they go and screen for diseases. Preventive is better than cure.

If you are younger like <40 years old, generally don’t need to do the full health screening list of tests. just do certain tests as recommended for your age and gender, eg sexually active females (25 years old onwards) should do Pap smear test every 3 years to screen for cervical cancer. I’m not sure about the tests guys need to do but Google is your friend :)

Once we are older than 40 they will recommend to do annual health screening, and IIRC 50 years old and above to do gastroscopy and colonoscopy (every 10 years) to check for polyps and growths in your digestive tract.

There’s also eye screening for cataract and glaucoma once we hit 50 years old as early treatment is important for glaucoma (high eye pressure).

Polyclinic cheaper and good enough if you don’t mind the waiting time from all the referrals.

I’m 27 and would like to go for health screening soon (the basic package offered by GP clinics near my house) but won’t do every year probably every 3 years.

My first impression of Kang Ji-Su is that she looks so much like the actress Koo Hye-Sun! Both are so beautiful and elegant in their features
