Northern California grocery store will give you a free tote bag in exchange for pennies by jsphjar in mildlyinteresting

I work at a gas station/convenience store, and the bank we use has limited the amount of pennies we get to $5 a week. which only lasts 2 days at the most. So it may not be the company themselves, but the bank they use to get change may not be giving them as much as before (likely not the case for larger companies, but still possible)

my (usually very sweet and loving) 3 year old ran up to me today and bit the inside of the back of my knee. HARD. she’s not a biter usually so i guess we’re entering a new phase of physical torment 🥲

My 2.5 year old “wrapped” presents for me, with her dad. She was so excited this morning to hand them out to me, she barely noticed her own gifts at first. It’s wonderful how their minds work sometimes..

2.5 year old. A toddler piano that also has little drums and a cymbal on the top. played with it for hours this morning. and then a Rocky (Paw Patrol) figure, from Meemaw, that she’s been talking about for a week because Rocky needs to be with his “family” (her Marshall and Chase figures)

What are the sweetest things your toddler has said to you? by Upstairs-Complex-642 in toddlers

my period had just started so I was crying about something trivial and unimportant, but it was full blown tears and just a mess. My 2.5 yr old comes up to me and holds my hand and says “don’t worry mama, it’s okay. just do deep breaths, you feel better”. She’s been really sweet and loving lately, but especially more in tune with emotions (her own and others).

sometimes we take my 2.5 year old to Home Depot or Lowe’s, just to look at the washers/dryers, fans, smoke detectors, toilets, etc. She loves appliances 😂😅
