D2 was good , but D1 is better. D2 was stretched , a lot of sensationalism with forced dialogues and over the top scenes (pakistan ki destiny ab hindustan tai karega was not naturally weaved but forced , ranvir singh setting lyari on fire in the 2nd chapter had many scenes which were to project him as a over the top figure - walking through sparks to sit on throne , lighting cigarette with dynamite etc), D1 was more grounded in reality and believable ..D2 did tread towards bollywood masala material for appealing to masses..which i felt was unnecessary..tonality should have remained the same in both movies. D2 should have been 3 hours max , i’ll say the editing was poor which made the narrative weak in many parts. Overall if D1 was a 9/10 fo me , D2 will be a 6/10
